Ancient Indians were mostly metaphorical. They propagated knowledge through cryptic phrases and metaphors. In today's literalist world it's impossible to make people believe the meaning of it. Everyone interprets it differently. Or gets discarded as pseudoscience 🤔

Raj Vedam is such a pleasure to hear on not just astronomy but connecting it with our civilization or more particularly Hindu spiritual civilization which science now finds were not just stories but were retelling of actual events that took place more than 5000 years ago unfortunately the colonizers to prove their racial superiority termed all the "stories" contained in Sanathan Dharma texts as mythology which now needs to be consistently debunked with logic and facts as Raj Vedam does with great humility.

I think what is essential to understand is that gods in the rig veda have evolved, i have read the rig veda and it is clear that its a compilation spread across multiple centuries. For e.g. in some sections only agni is praised as the ultimate god, in some its indra, others such as shiv and vishnu dont even get a mention. Hence it would be incorrect to assume every story would have an impact on all gods and charecters we now know today.

@@kavinanil7406 vishnu is mentioned in vedas, RV 1.22.20- 21 are chanted in vishnu temples and in vishnu Pooja all the time. If you have heard. Those verses describe vishnu's abode as the Supreme palace (paramam padam). Shiva is mentioned as rudra in the vedas, if you have heard shri rudram in yajurveda, it mentions namah shivaya clearly. Gods like agni, indra and varuna are elemental gods. Shiva and vishnu are not new by any means.

It's Shani, the son of Sun and Chaya who limps, because Yama always picked up a fight with him. Once Yama pushed Shani into a pit.
