Welcome to one of the most special episodes of The Ranveer Show. I say this because today we have Muttiah Muralitharan, the legendary cricket player, to talk about his journey as a cricketer. He is a Sri Lankan cricket coach, a former cricket player, and a member of the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
In this episode, Muralitharan dwelled upon some amazing memories of his cricket career. We talked about Sri Lanka’s 1996 World Cup win, his walk-out incident at World Cup 1999, his experience with M.S. Dhoni as a captain, and the mental and physical health of sportsmen. He further shares his opinion on Virat Kohli and what he thinks about his cricket legacy. Furthermore, we talked about his childhood, World Cup 2023, and Sri Lanka’s current situation.

Early days of MS the captain was more of a man manager because he had to manage world class bowlers like Harbhajan, Zaheer, Nehra, Muruli at CSK. Then later part of the MS’s captaincy was about being the tactician on the field because he was building a young Indian bowling line up with Bhuvi, Ashwin, Jadeja, Shami, Bumrah, Chahal, Kuldeep, Chahar, Pathirana at CSK etc.

After all Muralis bawling and all the mistrials calmly read by legend MSD by keeping to him in CSK from 2009 , ultimately helped him to get the WC 2011 to India. ( 2011 Final Murali didn’t get a single wicket, think his entire career he didn’t had that experience and MSD batting against him like a brother playing in soft ball cricket in home garden in final 😂😂😂 ) That’s what IPL is all about!!!

V. B. Chandrashekhar. Tamil Nadu opening batsman with Srikanth for many years. He was CSK manager in 2008. And like Murali said it was his idea to go all out for MSD in the auctions. Chairman N. Srinivasan had given him a free hand.

If you have good team you don't need good leadership simple things 😂😂😂...if your bowlers Re bowling well teammates are batting well in that case arjun Tendulkar as a captain can also make team win 😂😂😂😂......dhoni is not a good batsman not even a good captain his whole carrier was dependent on playing 11 ...in this WC you can see how rohit won 5-5 matches not coz he is good captain it's coz the team is playing it's part ..batters are batting properly spinners ,fast bowlers are playing well..........he is not even close to legend ponting he was a guy who score from bats and also and has record with bat too at no3spot .....dhoni is a dependable captain with good players team..a BOt
