He is an amazing actor, he played both characters of Mahadev and Jalandhar very well. The last scene of Jalandhar was so intense and so real and any God believer who has ever felt pain in their lives would connect with that episode as he questions God's presence. Mohit did amazing in portraying that pain. I'd give him an Oscar!

Mohit Raina's portryal of Bhagvan Shiv was perfect. No one else could've played lord Shiva better. It is only because of divine grace that any man could have played Adiyogi in such a beautiful way....

I live in USA and me and my daughter used to watch this show Devo ke dev mahadev and my daughter learned a lot of our god and goddess. She always used to talk about Mahadev .Really I respect Mohit Raina Ji . Har har mahadev 🙏 Mohit Ji ko dekhkar lagta tha ki साक्षात महादेव आ गए

OMG! I started loving Mahadev because of this serial. He is the best...and my kids also watch Mahadev....totally agree how this character impacted my bhakti. I learnt how to behave with kids and others around ..best serial till date. I randomly watch any episode even today when feeling down or dejected.. thank you for this podcast...

Ssr did greatest justice to msd character. Especially him playing cricket just like a cricketer, not many can achieve that. No regrets there. Mohit raina has his own specialty and cult following 😊 hopefully we see him in many more memorable roles ahead

Having played Mahadev, he has already made his mark in cinema. And in general, any person leaves a mark, if not in a large-scale sense, then for the people around him. Mohit has not yet fully developed as an actor; his talent is still going strong. Thanks for this interview.

This was the first show that I watched which fell in category of mythological drama. And since those days, I've had this strong feeling that somehow this character played to perfection by Mohit Raina Sir, is so POPULAR not just bcz of how Sacred and Reverent the character itself is - Bhagwan Shiv, or the way writers have done fantastic job at writing it after seemingly thorough research and study; it was something about the actor playing it! And today that curious doubt aka impression I've had for almost 10 yrs now, after listening to Mohit Sir in this episode talking about the role candidly, was indeed the truth, I find!!! He did this portrayal not just as an actor would, but rather devoted himself to the process entirely- with his understanding, his faith and beliefs! And that is perhaps why, the drama was MORE LIKE A SCHOOL OF LIFE and not just a daily tv show for me, and many others!!

Mohit sir jiss episode ki baat kar rahe hain wo actual main best episode hai dev ke dev main Mahadev ka. He has poured his heart in that episode and you can actually feel that when Mahadev kills Jalandhar and he is dying.
