I think the only alternative is the original one from Elektron, available for Windows and really old versions of macOS. Go to Elektron web site and support pages for Sidstation to find it!

@tubesockor Great Job man, i just ordered a MK III beginning of August so i just "abo'ed" your channel! Im a C64 user since 1985, love Rob Hubbard of course ;) and so funny that the first tune you "did" was Command on Syntakt and then here used Delta and then Fist II which always was one of my fav.Sids as well (for me it was a good Tune to check Sid Chips, because of the Filter he used). btw. i also did a Sid Remix of Fist II Legend on the C64. Anyway. Just wanted to big you up on some similarities we both have/like. So really looking forward to see what you will come up with for the TherapSID in the future. Once again, Great Job man. and yes we should get Elektron to open source their SidStation Software to have great programmers like yourself to get Sid Lovers more possibilities in the future. PS: right now im sitting in the Garten, listen to Comic Bakery and the Birds here go nuts hahaha

Excellent, i haven't bought the TherapSID so far because it has no Wavetable, this is a part on the SID i really like and makes the sounds we all remember and love... A lot of sounds are only possible with the Wavetable and i was hoping, it was inside the TherapSID, but it wasn't... Maybe it's a chance now to include one when it's able to play SID music! ;)

@@XenoxParticularSound Yes, it is the macOS version of it that you see me use in the video. But on an older OS - does not work on recent ones.

This is fantastic! Can I suggest that everyone contact Elektron support to encourage them to open-source the code for ASID? Aside from a real C64, there are very few options for playing SID tunes on actual SID chips these days.

Is it possible Therasid save the instruments from a Sid to SidWizard or Goattracker instrument preset format??? I dream with that.

Real chips are available on Ebay etc, but sure, you never know the quality. On the other hand you can buy ARM2SIDs instead. Quite cheap and brand new (albeit emulated...)

I have two ArmSIDs in mine. Is there a way to play Stereo SIDs using both SIDs in ASID mode?

And to be clear, both two and three-SID songs will work. Using three will require some cabling, but two will work out of the box.

Thanks! When I’ve tested and made this patch ready I intend to submit it, and then it is up Twisted Electrons to decide if it goes with the standard releases.

No, not possible with ASID protocol (and also MIDI bandwidth is too slow)

Hehe, I know - was recording it and the voice sounded bad and had to be rerecorded. Changed some of the things I said so is not in sync with the hands :) But shooting the video again was not an option, so we have to live with this :D
