4 жыл бұрынIn this video I scan my whole claim for any gold nuggets using my metal detector. I found a bunch of garbage but it paid off because I found a little handful of gold nuggets in bedrock! Right before I left, I found a bedrock bench that looks like it could be holding a lot more.. This is the first time I've watched one of your videos. Having gold mined for many years, it's refreshing to see someone who shows actually what it takes to find gold not the BS on other sites. Those of you watching can take what Pauly says as the truth. My only suggestion is that you should invest in (and I'm sure you already have one) in a pair of tweezers. Make it a lot easier to get those little nugget out of the cracks.

Just wanted to say that the metal line you found with the hook, is old logging line called a section. Used to haul trees out. And usually when they break it’s over creeks. Never to be used again.

When I was much younger, I did gold sniping like you do as well and I found, if I carried about a 30 inch piece of plastic fish tank air tubing, I could get a more-concentrated stream of air to blow the debris out of holes and if it was light enough, it would blow out and NOT get in my eyes.

Those vertical layers in the bedrock seem to be working like a natural riffle box. There is a source for that gold somewhere upstream, some place that is releasing it.

Sometimes, there is no "motherlode" in this sense sometimes ancient rusty rocks weather in place, drop the gold and have blown or been washed away. However, that said, sometimes you can find gold associated with quartz veining but motherlode deposits can also contain invisible gold that was originally dissolved in acidic hydrothermals.

Awesome fella. In Ontario thinking about going to look for some as well. We have gold mines in the north but I'm not sure people have much, if any luck, finding surface gold. That vid was awesome. Vicarious excitement. Hope you get the thrill of a big nugget!

The first place to look for gold in your new claim is the masonry dept. at Home Depot. Plenty of hand tools to make short work of that rock.

Okay Pauly, I want to come out and play----- as I never want to grow old. LOL I so appreciated you showing me a good portion of your gold - amazing, but knowing what is in the river, not surprised. You have the energy, and again the nose of a Gold Hound.......and if no one notices all of those nuggets you have found, truly show in your physical abilities. You rock. Your energy is infectious.

10:04 totally agree with ya mate....just the other week i found a 4.50 gramer from crevicing......had a bit of smokey quartz here and there in it......most beautiful piece of gold i got..... also....your vedios give me great enjoyment.....i realy need something to lift me up.....our last trip out wasn't to good....got stormed on out in the bush, had a tyre blowout, didnt get much gold, and i gashed my hand on me pick down to the tendon.....not a good sight actually seeing ya tendon and ligaments moving in ya finger..... :( hope you get many more subs, you deserve it and i hope i we get some gold on our next trip out, i deserve it...and so do you.. (:

I've been detecting for years but never for gold nuggets. Looks like fun. I think I might try it. A couple of my detecting permissions have some bedrock on them. Might see what I can find there. Great video. Great info. I subscribed!
