jane Wyman doing her Loretta Young thing . She was 40 at this time . I guess past forty at that time was considered ancient for a leading lady type actress . Today there are a few leading lady actress still doing the romantic type role .

Ms. Wyman was an accomplished actress, elegant and just plain classy. I know nothing of her personal life accept she was married to President Reagan for a time and then they divorced. He married Nancy and lived and shared a long and I think happy marriage. I always thought that if things had worked out between them, she would have made a wonderful first lady. I don't know if she suffered from alzheimer's as did President Reagan, but I do know how hard it is on everyone in the family. My grandmother and one of my uncles suffered with this disease. What happened to empathy for others. It takes a small minded person to make such derogatory remarks. That's all I have to say on the subject. Good day to everyone else who enjoys the quality of older shows.
