Tbh there are many animes with better story telling, character designs and emotions than this one. I would recommend watch some other anime as this feels rash. (Og recommendations- The dangers in my heart, Tsurezure children, etc.)😊

@@Gwynn-tk2xg I can agree that he does care about Yuki but wanting to keep someone locked in a cage ,being too overprotective of a person isn’t a good thing. How would you feel if you were like Yuki ,wanting some form independence, having your disability being the only trait that someone pays attention too. I guarantee that you would not like that,no one would. Both Oushi and Itsumoi care for her but Itsumoi looks past her disability and wants to get to know the real her,wants to help her get of the cage ,while as Oushi doesn’t.

@@BooksInk While I am not death, I do have issues (I have high functioning Autism), and I personally do not let this condition I have define me. I hate it when my mom has to tell people I have this condition in order for them to accept me. Also, while I haven't seen the anime (I want to, but am not able to), I am starting to read the manga (just read the 2nd volume, it's awesome). Oushi's behavior in some ways reminds me of my mom. I love my mom, but she's a helicopter parent and she IS the head of the house and my whole life my mom has tried sheltering me TOO much and sadly that overprotective nature and not fully allowing me to be independent (I am capable of it), it's damaged our relationship beyond repair. So speaking as someone who's had their independence stripped away due to someone's fear, yeah it's awful. I do hope that Oushi comes to realize his actions are causing more harm then they are good.
