As an ex-food service worker...in a mall...I dealt with a hand full of "Karens" and male Karens- or "Kevins" which I call them -before. From people yelling at me because I can't focus when it's too loud, to people leaving their lit cigar in our trash can because they decided to come in looking for a pretzel the second we close, working at a mall is such a stressful experience I went through...on top of still going to school during the weekdays which means I barely had a break. 😫

Ikr. I have passed out in public 3 times. All three times have been with my mom, and I have told her everything time that I was gonna pass out, so luckily she catches me and places me gently on the floor. Last time I passed out my mom and sister told me that I closed my eyes, my legs got really straight, I made a weird noise, and apparently it looked like I was trying to catch myself, so yeah, I'm definitely willing to bet she didn't pass out 😀✋

Honestly, living with karens is so odd. Their behavior is very different at home, at least in my experience. I mean, I didn't even realize they were karens until a few years ago. My dad went NUTS over face masks in 2020, and my nana is the type to say passive aggressive, rude, judgy shit to service workers if she's even mildly inconvenienced. But aside from some mild entitlement, they act totally normal at home. And about the dinner bit, they absolutely do talk about it at home. They'll rant about how some stranger was just SO RUDE and INCOMPETENT and AWFUL, and they'll make themselves sound like good guy, like they were just defending themselves. They'll make their victims sound like the real karens. It's honestly kinda scary just how deluded they can be. And even with all that, they're SAINTS compared to the karens in this video, so I can't even imagine how much worse those people are.

Children don’t get upset when it rains and washes away because they know there’s nothing they can do about it. My mom acts like a Karen. We're hispanic tho so she don't have the typical Karen look. The other day I caught her putting my clean clothes in the dogs pee so I calmly confronted her. She then pushed me , so I push her back in self defense. The second I push her back she starts screaming like the Karen in this video. She's calling my dad saying "HELP ME HELP ME SHES HITTING ME" then my dad comes running and sees me just standing there and gets mad that she made a big deal and was sabotaging my clothes. My brother told me she was screaming so loud he could hear her from outside. So yes parents do act like this. Even Hispanics can be Karen's. It's okay though cause I'm moving out in 2 days so I'll be away from this bitch.
