It always has. In some areas, you have to make it yourself, and not everyone knows how. In CT, you can purchase it in the grocery stores. In other states, where it is not as ethnic you can't find it in the grocery store. My mother was vegan when I was growing up, so I learned to make it from her.

Tip: if you want crispy potatoes, pour the oil into the baking dish, let it preheat in the oven, then toss the potatoes in the hot oil. Makes them 10x better

Depends on the dish. Ghee has that smokiness and low smoke point that beef tallow lacks. Now beef tallow has umami which ghee does not, so it's just personal preference.@@2010Failbrids

A LOT of Indian chicken I’ve seen is just glorified boiling inside an oily stew with spinach, chickpeas, tomato yada yada Interesting sauce varieties, but the chicken itself isn’t treated particularly special; the most consistently tasty chicken I’ve had from Muslims is probably the grilled, whether it’s Afghan cuisine, Pakistani/Indian etc.

I’ve made this 3 times now. Once with tomato paste instead of paprika paste cuz I forgot to buy it but was craving it lol The first time turned out the best, was the juiciest chicken I ever cooked, and I don’t remember what setting/temperature I had on that time 😅 but it’s one of my favorites and everyone else loves it too. Taking a guess, she’s probably cooking it for 20-25 minutes on 375. Chicken is done by 165, but dark meat is really tender at around 180. Just wait till your potatoes are fork tender. Awesome recipe. Will try.

You want to risk others due to laziness of making time and effort in oven and being modern and cool. Oven is old fashioned and washing potatoes is old fashioned so you want to fit in and cater to western audiences primarily.

The reason why, chickens will die and contaminate the others so they clean them with chemicals hence he said always wash it off before use. But each to their own, if you’re happy to eat these chemicals which I’m sure isn’t great for your body then that’s your choice
