Azpi is a Chelsea legend. One of the most underrated defenders in football. His versatility is second to none. He has played in all defensive positions for Chelsea: Right back, centre back, left back. A true legend. He plays with a maximum passion. He has played under several coaches at Chelsea, and all the coaches found him indispensable. True Legend.

@@rehan4223 I said MOST VERSATILE defender not BEST DEFENDER. The guy played LB as a starter when we won the PL in 14/15. CB when we won PL, CL & FA CUP, RB when we won the Europa Leagues. Maybe improve your reading comprehension but my point stands. Maldini never played every position as a starter, granted that he did not need to with the talent there was at Milan.

For me, Azpi is one of the most underrated players in modern football, or at least isn't talked about enough, his consistency, talent, work ethic, dedication, and passion for the club is unmatched, the clearances he made today and leadership he showed, especially after Thiago's injury, were just something else. So much love and respect for this man!

The goal that made us again the champions of Europe: Mendy passes wide left to Chilwell, who finds Mount infield. Mount spins and plays a first-time ball down the inside-left channel. Havertz races after it, though a huge gap in the City defence caused by Werner’s decoy run to the left. Without that intelligent run by Werner, Man City's defence would have been allover Havertz in seconds.

I’m a Liverpool fan and I would like to thank both Chelsea and Manchester City owners for putting a good product on the field. Both teams had 4 to 5 players on the bench that could easily start on other teams. Congratulations to Chelsea. You all are very fortunate to have club owners like you do.

thank you, Captain Azpi, for being one of the best, humble, boss, professional and human man a team can get. u are NO DOUBT a Chelsea-legend, being one of few who actually NEVER had a error leading to a goal. now thats something for almost 10 years at the club. yes i know we got Lamps, Terry, Drogba, Hazard etc, but we also have Cesar Azpilicueta now up there, there is no doubt. i really hope you stay for some years more, couldnt be more thankful for an RB ever. one of the best RB's in the world. thank you once again, and seeing you being able to win the CL with the Blues, means so much. one love from a averege joe from Norway! I am not a fan of Jose but I won't ever forget what he said about Ngolo Kante. He once said Leicester could win the EPL cuz of Kante in the team and happened. Kante was phenomenal today; by far the best player on the pitch. He's something else. Kante wins U trophies.
