Oliver cheating on her with her sister; Everyone rushing to call her an addict after a short time of overindulgence; Oliver blaming Laurel for something when Sara came back, despite the way they’ve both treated her; having Laurel apologize to Sara for some reason; making Sara the Black Canary instead of Laurel; rushing Laurel into the role of Black Canary; replacing Laurel with Felicity by saying Oliver and Laurel had no chemistry, and that Oliver and Felicity had tons of chemistry, both of which is absolutely ridiculous; making Laurel justify all of this stupidity; killing off Laurel instead of Felicity; and bringing almost everyone back to life EXCEPT Laurel. It was too late to fix the mistake with Felicity, but they could’ve resurrected Earth 1 Laurel, and the should have.

Spencer Chua Wei Ye she had survivors guilt for both. She was mad when her world was erased in the first episode and she was upset that everyone from her world was gone and she should be too. That goes hand in hand with her feeling she be dead with her people and E1 laurel should be alive

As someone who doesn't feel the need to compare this show constantly to already existing works, this was handled about as perfectly as it could've been. You don't erase years of (still ongoing) character development to bring back a character that would feel hilariously out of place now. Besides, no one liked Laurel until she died, no one liked Black Siren until the redemption arc and now people want OG Laurel back? I imagine it's getting kinda hard for Katie Cassidy not to take all this indecisiveness personally.

The fans HATED OG Laurel OMFG! They got rid of her, because the character, as written was WRETCHED!!!! They brought her back as a villain, to continue to give the actress work, and to try and be creative with the character. They redeemed her, and the fans actually began to like her after - so just because YOU and the Felicity haters WHINE and WHINE and OMFG WHINE about the Olicity ship and that it killed Oliver/Laurel does not in ANY way mean it was a bad decision killing her off - it was the best decision for the show, for the character and for her arc.

I don't think he could have brought back E1 laurel. E1 and E2 (and many other) are now both merged to earth prime (we know that because they have gorilla city) so E1 and E2 Laurel are BOTH Laurel-Prime. So if he brought back the old Laurel we would have two Laurel-Primes, they would have to be considered the same person (despite having different memorys etc.) But one person cant exist twice, so in order to safely bring back E1 Laurel he would have to kill E2 Laurel that would not just be unfair to E2 Laurel, i also dont think E1 Laurel would have wanted a good person to die so she could live.

I'd say everyone got a really nice gift from Oliver, and this was Laurel's. Considering her earth and family are gone, she deserved Lance. It doesn't take away from her development at all. Just because Lance was the spark that lit the flame doesn't take away all the work she did on herself, by herself. 🤷

It would actually be more shitty to bring E1 Laurel back. Face it the way they did Laurel was dirty and I didn't mean just her death. She was in love with a man who didn't love her and would never have been the Black Canary everyone wanted due to her inexperience and the fact that nobody could properly train her without stopping. Quentin went through hell and back to redeem *this* Laurel and literally died for her and she has way more connection to everyone else than E1 Laurel due to the development that was given to her. We established via Batwoman that trying to have two versions of someone will cause them both to receive immeasurable pain making it so that only 1 could exist. Black Canary is literally my favorite female character in DC and I was very upset with what they did with her because it always seemed like she had one problem after another and could never live up to her comic book character. It pains me to say it, but I will always prefer E2 Laurel and Oliver would never bring back dead Laurel to replace a Laurel that went through all that. I did however wish that they merged the Laurels in a sense that E2 Laurel has always been there and her personality would be a mix of both while retaining the memories she had.

As stated, he could only bring back those lives that did not affect his actions as the Green Arrow. E1 Laurel's death is what made him recruit Rene and Dinah, therefore her death was crucial to be remained intact for the timeline to stay as stable as possible

I just realised I didnt put in the part about Moira speech, that being said , I dont think it matters if the time line stays intact since if people like Mia and JJ are able to remember pre-infinite crisis memory(because of MMH serum) without being physically there and they werent even in the right age, so bringing timeline in doesnt make any sense since they are able to remember something that happen to their future pastselves which they didnt experience then again this is all fiction so it wouldnt make sense to argue something explained poorly to the audience

Earth-2 exists, but it is likely different. You saw Stargirl and the Justice Society of America there in the montage of parallel Earths shown at the end of the TV crossover. I am wondering if Jessie Quick and her father Harrison Wells are alive but living different lives on Earth-2. Like Earth-Prime the multiverse may be different with nothing being exactly the same.

Then it makes sense that Laurel with memories and personality of the one from Earth -1 might also be somewhere else.

It was the ending of season 7 in that timeline Oliver didn't have to become the Specter in order to stop the Crisis anti monitor, but still died along with Flash. But that entire time line was erased post current Crisis. However that afterlife does exist outside of space and time like the vanishing point so it could still exist. But it's a different version of Oliver with a different Felicity, in that afterlife. Especially since the monitor is the one who took Felicity there, but can't take her there again since he died in Crisis. As for your second comment, Oliver changed and is no longer that same person he was before the island, Laurel knew that, you could also ask the question "why Felicity wanted somebody who nearly got her killed almost everyday?" But they both loved him and he loved them, Laurel even said she loved Oliver right before she died. The only difference was Oliver never thought he was good enough for Laurel as seen in ep 100 of Arrow. Also it could be possible that E1 Laurel knew she and E2 Laurel couldn't exist on the same earth as we learn from Batwoman (I have some issues with that alternate Beth storyline BTW). This way everybody wins.
