Moi aussi. As a UK teenager, I had given up on listening to music in the late 70s before I heard it. Incredible as it may seem, I first heard it at my Catholic high school when some teacher played the TOTPs recording to us. I think he later went on record as saying No More Heroes by The Stranglers was his favorite piece of music.

I am a 63 year old Grandad, was never a Punk but have always admired and enjoyed the music they created. Sheer excitement.enthusiasm and great entertainment. Their live concerts, the noise, atmosphere etc imo are not much different to the early Beatles, Stones when they started. Their Tracks are timeless, as with the Characters themselves. 40 years on everyone knows them, whoever wins X Factor will be forgotten in a fortnight, specially the drivel churned out as their Track.....!!

Steve Jones and Paul Cook are so in the pocket and with a bass player that not only knows what he's doing but wrote a lot of the songs, Matlock, the band is brutal in its impact. Cook plays such awesome accents, he really makes these simple songs achieve another level. And just because they're simple doesn't mean they're not brilliant. I notice a lot of how the riffs go down minor and come back up major. There's some masterclass in rock n roll in here. Unlike many other punk bands, the Pistols played mid tempo, almost like a 70s metal band, not that they'd want to admit that.

It's a myth that so-called Punk Rockers couldn't play their instruments. The Pistols were adept with the style of music they played...And after a number performances and constant practice. They became a tight band. Plus, not too many bands sounded like they did at that time. Just because they didn't wank on their instruments, playing 50 notes a minute and 5 minute drum solos to prove they took lessons as kids. Does not mean they can't make significant and memorable music. The Stones and The Faces and a few other 60s based groups, didn't always sound proficient either. Nobody comes out of the womb playing a musical instrument.

Very nice!!! However, I just couldn't help but notice Jones and Matlock, although extremely tight, seemed to elsewhere. Lydon commanded center stage and Cook still flails those sticks with the energy of an 18 year old. It just seemed there are still animosity with the onstage cohesion. Still with the unit personal problems I perceive, this is one of THE BEST shows I have seen in a long time!

Lots of people are cynical about these reunion shows and I was myself - I thought it looked tragic for the band and worse for the fans. BUT at the last minute I decided to go to one of these shows in 2007. AND it was a ridiculously great night! What this film can't possibly get across is the atmosphere in the room - it was incredible how the love between band and crowd was tangible, it actully felt like Ecstasy. The band sounded insanely, cartoonishly powerful, and the crowd were all just shouting or laughing. A great nights entertainment.

As much as I remember, there were 3 gigs at Brixton Academy during November 2007 and others around the UK. I went to the first one at Brixton. Having been a teenager in the late 70's and bouncing around my bedroom to the bollocks album nightly. After the gig and walking out I heard younger people, who probably weren't even born in 1978, saying it was the best gig they'd ever seen. Nuff said.

I went to this gig very reluctant (1st of three in a row, 1st being on a thursday if memory serves ) , they proved me wrong, even at that age they still managed to impress me , but I also have to say that at the time I was left with this impression that ALL these songs are so imprinted in our psyche that it would have been impossible to listen to the 1st riff of " Pretty vacant " and not go nuts isntantly . I know I did, great show(s).

There are a handful of rock/punk/metal bands people will listen to 100 years from now and this is one of them. Not J ustin Timberlake, not Justin Beeber, not Jenifer lopez, bruno marz, taylor swift or 99.9% of the stuff we hear on the radio. People will listen to the Pistols, not becasue they were great musicians but because the music is so original, fun, high energy, authentic and the words actually say something.

Sex Pistols nailed it. They made one of the greatest albums period. They sound amazing here just like they did in '96'. The songs sound fresh here and Steve Jones is up their with the greastest guitar players. Steve's also a real nice geezer, his talk shows are a must listen.

Fucking awesome video. Takes me back to my youth where I rebelled. The 70’s (and 80’s) was an era where we were all very passionate about our country and the direction it was heading in. Now look at the world today - a mess! You don’t know how precious some things are until you lose them! Thanks for posting

You have to remember they were young when the made bollocks, more mature now and arguably better voices, but hay you will never ever replicate the late 70s for punk and I was so glad to be part of that movement as a teenager.

Johnny is singing with more authenticity, attitude and balls then any dudes out today with their dance moves and light shows. And his voice is on point maybe even better than when he was in his 20s. And the band is way tighter than it ever was in the 70s. This is how you do a rock and roll show.
