This impact statement is so h'eartfelt. Mrs. Woodcock's story of baby Caanan's struggle to survive his premature birth and the drugs in his body is so moving. The tender loving care his grandparents gave to him, just holding and comforting him for hours in those early days, was so healing to his little body and emotions.

JJ's biological mom sobered up and tried to get him back ..Lori would never think about returning him ..this beautiful grammas brother was murdered by Lori also and her daughter killed herself after her son's body was discovered..how will they recover?

Kay said in her statement how much Kanan (sorry for misspelling) looked like her son, so I assumed from that that her son was his father. Maybe I'm just confused.

@@marysanders9461 I did some research thank you, you are absolutely right, I guess it was their son who was the father Leger was JJ's biological mother but she lost custody of him shortly after he was born in May 2012 due to her struggles with addiction. He was adopted by his paternal great-uncle Charles Vallow - who was shot dead in July 2019 - and Charles' wife Lori the following year.Apr 19, 2023

I guess you didn't get to see them going to prison and get his Justice Addiction is horrible, we need to somehow find a cure for it...
