The wisdom of God remains hidden to the people of this age.
God never stops trying to break through. He never quits. He never backs down. He continues to try to get across, to everybody, the truth of his word.
He does it in ordinary ways. He does it through the church that he has established.
The disciples of the Lord are to speak his word.
The wisdom of this age has the effect, I believe, of creating a fog in which people travel. It has the effect of benumbing the mind to the realities of God.
