Tbf in the comics up until one more day they actually let him grow up so he wasn't really a teenager since like 1960 something. Then one more day and he's pretty much a man child. Just let the old bag die god damn it.

Spider-Man has been around 25 or so for decades now in the comics. He was only stuck as a teenager in the Marvel movies which was based more on the Ultimate Comics than main story line comics Universe 616. Main proof of that is that Nick Fury in the Ultimate line is black and so is Nick Fury in the movies. Nick Fury is white in the main comics 616 universe. Also I know the movies also used the number 616 but there's no way that's canon since movies aren't comics. They should have a different universe number.

My first exposure to Marvel Zombies was through some Fantastic Four comics, where zombie virus was on a Scrull planet that copies Earth's personas and Johnny, Ben, T'Challa and Storm fought Zombie Scrull Fantastic Four. Then these Zombie Galactis heroes came and then some huge bug appeared. Still cannot find anything on that. But one thing I also remember is Fantastic Four's black and silver costumes, which looked dope.

While The Surfer is made of “metal”, it’s like… special Cosmic Power metal, so it’s hard to say how it would interact with Magneto. Also yeah, when you have Galactus’s power you get that outfit.

The Marvel Zombies comics came out a few years before The Walking Dead tv series. Kirkman was writing comics for Marvel (Antman, Marvel Team Up, etc) until his creator owned comics took off.

The 2149 zombie virus has five more volumes (Marvel Zombies 2-5, and one subtitled Return, which is a direct follow-up to 2), two prequels (Dead Days and the Evil Dead crossover), and a one shot (subtitled Halloween). It has also been rebooted under the subtitle Resurrection (two volumes), and most recently the Red, White, and Blood line has gotten the Marvel Zombies treatment. Some 616 heroes got stranded in the 2149 universe's Skrull homeworld, though I don't remember what issue or series.

There's a story that's about how the disease spread, and what happened after the Galactus Zombies left, tl:dr for the series.; Bad decisions and the fact that zombies existed lead to everyone dying or becoming Zombies, Ash showed up, brought some survivors to Latveria, used the necronomicon and the deadites to fight the Marvel Zombies while Doom sent Ash and his group of survivors through a portal and Doom stayed behind to close it, leading him to go out like a champ fighting the Zombie heroes. Years later after the story we see take place in this video we follow the main Marvel Earth's Machine Man (robot guy) as he checks this world out, Professor X has his brain literally connected to cerebro and is trapped in the chair to cerebro to find humans for Quicksilver and his illuminati to find, Kingpin uses the Jackal's tech to make clones and eat them/sell them for goods/services (trading), Machine Man shuts that down and goes home to find out that Zombie Morbius replaced actual Morbius in S.H.I.E.L.D and frees the main timeline Morbius, who assembled the Midnight Sons to stop the infection from spreading, locked the virus into a guy who was already a zombie, the end all fixed. Yes this summary sucks but it's semi-short so 👍

It gets more stupid, the more you read into it. Like how quicksilver was present when they were chasing after magneto and didn't instantly catch him. How colossus got infected when sentry already left the earth. How no one used strategy to prevent getting bit. Why antman didn't instantly shrink down to hide during the early infection. Why magneto just gave up after getting bit. Like no try to kill them 😅 Why nightcrawler didnt just teleport outside of the elevator, or better teleport with thor and escape to asgard. It comes to the point where i don't know how these got past the editors. So much stupidity.

Magneto isn't exactly a "bad guy." As far back as the original Secret Wars, an outside observer puts Magneto alongside all of the kidnapped heroes. The character has been far more than just the X-Men villain since the 80s.

I’ve heard that marvel doesn’t want to use zombie Spider-Man anymore (this is alleged but considering we haven’t really seen him all that much and even when they rebooted marvel zombies they made sure Spider-Man was not one of the zombies i’d say it’s at least plausible that might be the case). Honestly that’s a shame because I actually like what they did with Spider-Man in this story. Unlike most of the undead who just accepted that they are now zombies Peter still felt insanely guilty for what he did and the moment he realized he didn’t have to eat humans he wanted to change for the better. If that isn’t taking responsibility, I don’t know what it is.

Personally, I find it to be one of the grossest, most outta touch marvel comics out there. Robert Kirkman didn't seem to have a lot of respect for the characters and just kinda made them all horrible monsters. "Hey kids wanna see Spider-Man devour Aunt May's brains? Cause it's funny!" There's shitty writing, gross art, and kinda just overall makes me really uncomfortable. No disrespect if you like Marvel zombies, but in my opinion there's much better dark timelines that are still pretty gritty but with much better writing. Old Man Logan comes to mind as one of my favorites.

marvel zombies mini series 3-5 made me almost throw up because the writing was so bad. The initial crossover in ultimate FF is great, Marvel Zombies 1 is solid, Marvel zombies 2 is passable, but 3-5 are horrendous
