Interesting idea! I've done something like this and I had issues with painting on a glossy surface too, but I was using acrylic paints and they just didn't really want to stay put either. Maybe using a matte medium over the whole page first and then adding paint? I dunno! Haven't revisited that since... uh... well that was a dozen years ago, I think. Anyway - I always love to see experiments! Nice colors and cool idea... kudos to you!
