Nothing in these workouts seem stressed: No pressure, only calm. No anger, just enjoying every moment of it. My favorite material for motivation. While I'm not training strongman, I do have to murder my wrists right now with strength/grip excessive until they fall apart. I hate it... But now I got the boost for the mindset I'll need. It's ok man. Don't be hard on yourself (you know it doesn't work). Just remember that the potential to return to the gym and feel better is always there....I spent my first time in a clinic 6 and a half years ago and I'm only just turning it around now with regards to gym. I was 105kg kilos only a few months ago...am now only about 5kg off my ideal weight of 90. One thing I'll say is don't fall into the trap of super high intensity all the time...your nervous system will certainly not dig it, even more than a non addict....just play the long game, the results will come

It's important to progress slowly on the deadlift and practice good form before moving anywhere near your max. Thor knows this. Thor also moves slowly back up to his max weights whenever he starts preparing for a comp.

@@EmilBBechGrip Your more likely to snap up some shit in your body doing deadlifts. Especially since he looks really tall. The taller you are the more preassure on your lower back. Not to be a downer but been in and out of wheelchair and had a surgery in my abs recently due to a Blood clotting condition. Not sure if it's from the vaccine, but I haven't been able to do a deadlift in a long while now. The way I found this was searching Google for reasons to stay alive. I'm not really seeing much reason to keep trying. It's not an untrue statement. I've not been able to get my strength back in so long; I'd wish I had this shirt for the last day. I'm sure ready to let go. Thanks for being genuine where everyone else says "you're good the way you are" etc.. Truthfully, no one actually means that. At least as a man, you really become worthless to your loved ones and a complete liability. It feels like taking a lot of deep breaths before jumping off an extremely high divi g board. It's spooky, but once you're all the way up here, climbing down is pretty embarrassing. If you can barely do a workout, do t ever give up being worthless and useless is not anyways to live.. Thanks for this honesty. Watching g the lady I love know how badly she'd like to be with some of the normal and proper men who smile at her; I just hope she finds a man who's fantastic. You're not fine the way you are. The brave thing to do is to leave sp you aren't someone else's responsibility. Maybe that's not for everyone but to me it's just true.. 👍👍

My neurosurgeon said I had "degeneration". As I did more research it just meant your bones/joints deteriorate over time, basically. I do 225lbs for 5 sets of 5. Never more than that just to keep a little strength. My back feels as good as ever. Proper technique and KNOW how to use a belt and also brace in your belt properly helped more than anything.

@@jsee2385 The thing is, everybody's discs degenerate over time. I believe it's an unhelpful term. It makes it sound like it's going to keep getting worse no matter what. Those more cynical would say that surgeons like to operate, so they're going to use those terms to make it sound like they can fix it. Great you're doing well, in any case!
