Generator Rex is a wildy underrated show from the people who brought you Ben 10, but like most properties, there is a video game and today we are going to take a look at Generator Rex: Agent of Providence and see how it holds up and compares to the show itself!

I did on the 3ds! I remember playing it so much as a 7 year old! I came years later to replay it but I couldn’t get past the Van Kleiss fight that I remembered breezing pass as a little kid. I guess I was rusty since I played the game so long ago. 😅 It’s still a pretty fun hack n slash through.

I played the game as well, honestly loved how the characters translated into a 3D environment and the story was cool being a massive fan of Generator Rex's lore, but I agree that it's too short and can get repetitive and sad that it didn't reach it's full potential

I really appreciate a series like Generator Rex that decides not have secret organizations and identities and just allows the public to know everything. It really helps to make the show stand.

It really is a shame that a lot people only know about Generator Rex and the Secret Saturdays because of there link to Ben 10. Ironically Ben 10 has the least consistent story out of all of them.

I love Gen Rex and Secret Saturdays, and always like the idea of Ben 10 sharing the same universe in some aspects, mostly because CN had plans of using Ben 10 to create its own MCU/ DCAU which I thought was pretty interesting, but sadly it didn't really take off

Yeah as someone who loves Ben 10, I kinda hate it for overshadowing Generator Rex and Secret Saturdays. I mean I'm happy the latter two weren't so popular they didn't have CN breathing down their necks ruining the tone or forcing reboots, but still people should know both existed beyond Ben 10 cameos.

I hope you eventually play the Samurai Jack game too. Its neat that it has a alternative ending the show.

This game had the same place in my heart as the Ben 10 game I played on the Wii. Absolutely loved unlocking Rex's "arsenal". Though I'm now realizing I never finished it. Darn you kid me 😂.

One of my biggest gaming regrets was never getting the platinum for this game. It haunts me to this day, but I’ve come to terms with it.

I had this on the 3DS. It wasca lot of fun, but the gameplay was less open and more side-scrolling. I wish I still had it

Some of the shows and stuff you cover are juuuust barely into the years where I am now an "older teenager and too cool for kid stuff" edgelord territory. I'm sad to say that Generator Rex was one of those shows, my bad.

I tried to play it pc but their is no PC version that is really annoying some mods is going to make the game better But it a failed game from 2011 So..... I don't think I will see 😢

The graphics in this game does not aged well here, and I've seen games with amazing graphics. It looks boring to look at, and the combat is okaish here.
