Most every luthier I know is constrained by the cost of the repair vs the value of the guitar and the giant backlog of work they have. It's really nice to see someone doing a repair where the only consideration is making it perfect.

Had the same crack on my Gibson too. While the repair job on mine is also invisible and excellent, I doubt he used your technique which is truly masterful. Beautiful work excellent craftsmanship!! Thank you for sharing!

i have seen every type of headstock repair and this is the one that actually makes sense and less complicated than any other repair other than just gluing and that is not a repair but just a cheap bandaid , you sir are amazing and your color matching is 2nd to none

Je n'ai jamais vu une technique aussi pointue et consommatrice de temps utilisée auparavant , je suis au point d'être persuadé que la 335 est mieux réparée et finie qu'elle ne l'était avant. A ce niveau d'attention à l'ensemble et aux détails, on est totalement dans de l'art...chapeau I've never seen such a sharp and time consuming technique used before, I'm to the point of being convinced that the 335 is better repaired and finished than it was before. At this level of attention to the whole and to the details, we are totally in the art ... hats off

本当に素晴らしいです ある程度痕跡が残るのは仕方ないのが普通ですが ここまで仕上げられる技術とリペアマンさんの神経質さ（良い意味での）に頭が下がります

職人さんの後ろ姿であったり横顔であったり、クランプや棒ヤスリのような道具までが 絶妙なカメラワークで撮影され編集されていて、まるで映画のワンシーンを見ているようでした。 BGMがなく、静かに時間が流れていくなかで工程が進んで行く様子が最高にCOOLですね。

そちらもすぐに視聴させていただきましたよ。 とにかくカメラワークが絶妙で引き込まれました。 恐らく編集に相当な時間が掛かっているかと思います。 BGMって動画に色付けするファクターのひとつなのでとても重要ですね。 動画で伝えたい事を邪魔しないBGMの選択はより動画を際立たせると思います。 この動画を見た人は「あぁ、ここにリペアを頼みたいなぁ」って思うはずです。ww

If you have an original 60 burst, believe me that you don't want to cover the back of the headstock with a piece of wood... This work, about the skills, is amazing. But with a clean crack like that the criterium and perpective is too much...

@@andy85ebw actually, that’s pretty easy. Chibson does it all the time. Also, not all authentic Gibsons even have the “made in USA” stamp anyway.

確かに。折れた面の力の方向を接着する方向に押す平板を貼り付けることで力学的に常に抑える方向で修復する、理にかなってますねえ。手元に直しかけのリビエラあるので真似します。

I kept looking to see gif the serial number was left intact. I'm thinking it wasn't. Nice work though, your blending of the wood and color was amazing!

Gibson ES style guitars don’t usually have the serial number on the back of the headstock. Most of them take advantage of the f-holes to put the serial number on a sticker inside the guitar body visible through the bass side f-hole.

This is very nicely done, but a repair with splines would be stronger. The veneer idea does help to hide the crack though. I assume a no-creep glue was used.

凄いなぁ… きっと日々の努力を惜しむこと無く積み重ねてこられたのでしょうね。 私のような凡人なんか最初のほうの接着してサンドペーパー掛けた状態で、あ、ここから更に細かくサンドペーパー掛けてから塗装して磨いて仕上げて行くんやろなぁなんて思ってたら予想を遥かに超える工程で驚きました。 楽器に対して物凄く真摯に向き合っていてとても素敵やなぁって思いました。 ギターをこんな方になら預けたいなぁ… こんな真摯な人にして貰えたらきっと楽器も幸せですね。

おぉ、大体補強にメイプルの接ぎ木を入れるかボリュートを設けて強度を稼ぐのをよく見てましたがこれは初めてです。オリジナルの復元を目指してる印象。凄い。

@@ogsworks かつてと言っても10年程前までですが、修理上がりで納品された物をよく見ていたもので。 職場で沖田式修理方法のプリントが回覧されていたので、コピーした事も思い出しました。 メーカー修理ばかりで、ネック 折れ修理はした事がないですが、いつか作業や工房は見学したいなんて思っていました。

my Epiphone ES 335 Dot had the same problem and an Epiphone technician did the same repair, you can't see the break now

最初ボンドで接着終わった後にネックを削り始めて（え！？もう十分跡見えないけど！？）と思ったらネックに薄い板を二枚貼って強度出し？木目の演出？（素人なのでわからない）をして元の形状に戻してあの完成度......すごい......
