All that you said plus the fact he took his head off with one powerful swing, something that Rengoku was unable to do to an upper 3, and took a considerable amount of time trying. Same could be loosely said about Tengen and the boys taking out Gyutaro and Daki. Gyomei does not mess around.

Them remembering Rengoku is pretty much sums up what the Master was explaining to Muzan about the meaning eternity. The master's philosophy is that eternity is something to be remember and what's eternal for him is all those that had died fighting against the demons. The memories of those fallen demon slayer live in eternity in those that are still alive. Just like how Rengoku is dead but his memories can live in eternity so long as people remember him.

There's also a subyacent text about the superiority of humanity as a species, despite Muzans regarding humans as mere toys. Humanity's nature is so superior that it will not end by the abscense of an individual, which makes an interesting analogy between that and the Demon's Slayers Corp. The DSC will not disapear because of their masters death. In the same sense, humanity will not disapear just because a human dies, no matter how important or loved that human is. Demons, on the other side, will disapear once Muzans is dead, and thats how fragile they are in the nature of their existence, something Muzan will never achieve by himself no matter how much he tries.

Jaw dropping, heart pounding and nerve-wracking is the best description of this episode. So many chills this episode, from the Hashira uniting, Zenitsu being so deadly locked in and the visuals. One of the best season finales I’ve watched. The next arc is going to be the definition of epic.

@@Poisonedwight disagree. With how we see the master at 14 be considered more mature then a 19 year old monk. And on top of that they have foresight and I’m sure there’s some reason they are so mature with how they grow up. I think they know muzan will have his guard up for a trap but not for it to risk the whole family. I feel like they are smarter than we know. We saw them at the final selection. And I think they also helped treat mist hashiras wounds in his backstory

@@Poisonedwight I was gonna reply but then I saw that others have basically answered the remark. The Ubuyashiki family is way more mature then their ages would let on. I mean the master was only 23 and look what he had accomplished throughout his life. Believe me, I was super upset when it happened in the manga, and was dreading seeing it in the anime. I almost wondered if they would remove them, but I'm glad they didn't change the source material. It's very sad and beautiful at the same time.

The fact that Gyomei landed a hit at all that actually damaged Muzan is incredible, Muzans regen is just the surface, his skin is also many many times stronger than any demon. The fact Muzan was able to fend off Gyomei, the most powerful slayer, while rooted to place, with only one arm, while being poisoned goes to show how insanely dangerous he is.

honestly ufotable has gone through so much with this series that it basically tripled the length of the manga. the animation is all movie quality but even better and the music is picked so damn well its insane. i mean the author cried at episode 19 in season 1 with how well they adapted their manga. the author must be crying nearly every episode on their work becoming so amazing.

We all are fans of demon slayer. Its possible the first movie wont come out until next year and the digital release another 4 months so close to 2 years. Id say you guys should just go to the theaters and enjoy it cause i know you guys love demon slayer. Especially since it was your guys first anime in your channel. Mugen train was amazing in theatre and you guys didnt experience that. You guys could do a movie review after you guys seen it and post it on KZfaq because im sure all of us will have already seen the movie when its released. Theres 3 movies so you could do 1 or 2 in theatres and the finale for a reaction video. Im a big fan of demon slayer and i want everyone to experience this masterpiece in the best way possible. Just a thought.

I’m with you Sam, Master Kagaya Ubuyashiki has definitely went up on my respect and character list, the master planning and deep wisdom he exhibited was very top notch dope. Big props to Amane Ubuyashiki as well, she stuck Kagaya’s beside and didn’t waiver a little. That a ride or die on the real.

It makes sense if you think about it - we’ve got to the point where Muzan is pretty much the last big threat that we need to take care of, so it makes sense that Tamayo has perfected the cure to turn Demons back into humans already. In the long run, it really doesn’t matter anyways because Muzan can just continue making more demons even though they have a cure for them now. It REALLY raised the stakes way more to get rid of him once and for all as the only way to really be free of this curse. Also - finally seeing Tanjiro keep up with the Hashira and join in on the combo attack was so satisfying😢 our boy has grown so much since Episode 1.

Ubuyashiki’s wife Amane and their two children knew about the plan and they sacrificed themselves along with their husband/father in order to try and kill Muzan. They knew that if Muzan ever came for them they would be dead anyways so instead they had to act normal and calm as to not give away the trap. If they had not been there Muzan would have sensed something was up and would have been more cautious and wary of a possible trap.

Zenitsu wasn't trained by his grandfather. He just called him "Gramps", in this translation, as a child might refer to a close adult friend of their parents as, "uncle", even thought there's no blood relationship. The old man, ex-Hashira saved Zenitsu from his debt and took him in as a trainee/apprentice to repay the debt through his training. Presumably the old man saw something in Zenitsu which made him want to pick that particular child to train as a demon slayer. At no point does it say they were related.

I got a theory that the balls Kagaya Ubuyashiki kids were playing with was the explosions the whole time🤯 If you watch closely one of his kids drop the ball and looked at Muzan having a conversation with their father Kagaya Ubuyashiki I think that was the sign Kagaya Ubuyashiki Daughter was waiting for in order for her to destroy the ball they were playing with to make it explode to injure Muzan

So about the explosion plan. Lady Amane was obviously in on it. But for the kids, people talk about different things. First, there's people that believe the kids didn't know what they get into. And the other says that the kids know about the plan, but chose to stay with their parents. But anyway, the kids did distracted Muzan. He was thinking about why the family left there alone, but that thought stopped because he saw the kids playing with no care in the world.

The whole taisho era secret thing with Rengoku was just weird lol. Like when they changed the scene angle to show the darkness it almost felt like a tone shift and low-key just creeped me out for a moment.
