This family might have started out as a forgery, but they're going to find themselves being forged together and made stronger.

Judging from the style of the cars and such, if I had to guess I'm thinking the setting takes place in a period that emulates the late 50's or maybe even early 60's of the Cold War.

Also, this story is set in the 60s. Hence why a lot of things like Anya being left home alone, Loid being a single father and Yor being suspicious for being single at 27 all seem a little dated when compared to modern sensibility.

Yor, one of the most genuinely beautiful women I have ever seen in an anime.

You see how Twilight/Loid felt for Anya in episode one because he was an orphan as well but he had no one to help him or save him. They showed us a quick flashback with him as a five year old crying alone in the middle of rubble , explosions and smok. In episode 2 he also felt the need to defend Yor and felt for her because she had to sacrifice herself for her brother’s sake and he said he relates to that because he had to take a merciless thankless job and sacrifice his identity and life to protect all children and prevent war so no child will suffer what he suffered since he was 5. That’s what we know for now in the first two episodes. This man felt a soft spot for both of them and with his words he was able to touch them deeply and they both decided to stay with him to form this “fake” family.

I said last episode I was so happy for Dani because they were watching a series with a “baby” character and Sam and Morgan didn’t compare her to the “baby” yet. Then 3 mins into this reaction they tell her she should cosplay as the “baby.” 🤣

The music is a riff on the the original spy blockbuster Dr. No. Sean Connery as James Bond, from 1962. It was a hit, so all the spy movies and TV shows that came after it used cues from that show, including music cues. After 60 years, it's become a bit overused, perhaps, or maybe just think of it as iconic.

Huh, so Episode 2 really did cover just Chapter 2 as well, understandable since Chapter 2 i think is probably the second longest Manga Chapter i ever read with 55 Pages, but now leaves the Question of how many Chapters Episode 3 and any future Episode will cover since Chapter 3 is only 27 Pages and pretty much all of the Chapters from here on out is usually somewhere around 25 Pages, based on the Preview it seems Episode 3 will also only cover Chapter 3, like Episode 1 only covered Chapter 1 and Episode 2 only covered Chapter 2, so that really just leaves any Future Episode after 3 in the dark, at least for now, I really wonder how they intend to cover the rest of the Manga from here on out, i also wonder if any of the Extra Chapters will be covered at some point as well, i can’t wait to find out how they’ve done it.
