This movie came out before season 5, but it is supposed to be watched after season 5 if you want it to fit in the timeline and avoid spoilers. Not sure why people said you should watch it now.🤔

This movie was released during S4 but it actually takes place during mid to late S5 in the timeline. So yeah. A lot of fans are really insistent that people should watch it after S4, but that's definitely not when you should watch it. Especially if you notice small things. Because the spoilers in this movie for a lot of S5 is wild.

Yeh but then u get weird things like, why doesn’t deku use black whip and why is it randomly straight after the tournament. It just flows really weird in my opinion and I don’t think it really spoils too much honestly

it’s not that late into s5. the only things that are spoilery are tokyoyami flying and that’s all i can remember tbh. which was like episode 8 of s5 so not that much yk. also for the most part ppl didn’t even care about those small spoilers except for those who nitpick about everything

@@NickEclipse Bruh are you dumb, this movie spoils the fact Deku has multiple quirks and Tokoyamis Dark Fallen Angel, Also Bakugous growth in saving people and a shit ton of characters using their quirks better like Kaminaris lightning that tracks, Aoyamas knees and shoulder lasers

Despite having the seal of approval from Horikoshi himself when it comes to the 2nd and 3rd movie I highly doubt of their canonicity and their impact in the main story, the first one I’m more open to it to consider it canon and the spectacle in the 2nd I highly enjoy.

My one nitpick with this movie is the fight with Mummy. I feel like Hagakure should have done more being, you know, NAKED!!! She should have been the reason Bakugou was able to bust out. By getting in close and blinding him with her Quirk, he would've lost focus thus giving Bakugou the chance to escape.

To those who are saying they should have waited past S5, I understand why, but it's really Sam and Morgan's choice, isn't it? I'm sure they would already have been informed. Many people, including myself, feel the spoilers are negligible and didn't affect our experience at all. The movie also came out after S4 so that was the sequence most of us watched it in. But I get it - people who watch late have the privilege of choosing to watch it after S5 and avoid any chance of spoilers at all. I personally feel it's a waste to watch it like that because Heroes Rising is so worth watching right after S4 (especially because it takes a lot of visual inspirations from the past seasons) and spoils almost nothing. So if you have pros and cons, just let the reactors watch it however they want, and stop whining about it.

@@willfanofmanyii3751 In my opinion, they are inconsequential and negligible. Doesn't spoil the overarching plot. Most of them have been expected or hinted at so barely a surprise. Midoriya wasn't using certain things either, so it was obviously designed to be subtle in spoilers with just a preview of things people are expecting anyway. Like Dizzle said, it got me more hyped. But that's just my opinion. My point to let reactors decide for themselves remains.

@@bernardlovesadventures6649 dude you are so dumb, the issue is that they didn’t decide for themselves and were misinformed. Their Patrons on Patreon told them to watch this movie at this time and they listened simple as that. The Patrons told them the direct indisputably incorrect time to watch it. It’s all in the past now but you cannot fault people for being disappointed, ordering of events matter to a lot of people.

@@Opsity Because the movie was literally released in Japan as being a treat for those having read the manga. Majority of the trailers were "The story so far" being animated versions of the manga panels. It's no different than what Naruto did with The Last and Boruto.

The last thing they should ever do is listen to manga readers .They hype up all of season 3 then the boring license exam gets adapted and they move on to season 4 acutely being the best season, then half that season is a festival 🤣, so they move onto season 5 which again is half full of student training and repeat for season 6.

Heroes Rising was an excellent movie. While, like Morgan I like the first film a bit more. The second film is by no means bad. Action scenes were are on point.
