I'm not sure. I was there and she was coughing throughout the show even during songs like tattooed heart and she still sounded great. And it was definitely live. So I'm really doubtful about the lip synching. Usually I can tell when someone is lipping. But she's SO GOOd I couldn't even tell.

why are people suggesting she is lip synccing? i can here the difference in her voice from live and studio. Ariana Grande has a lot of back track but its because she always hits the high notes during chorus. You can also hear her additional lyrics such as 'say' or 'hey'. Yes she was ill and i can hear it in her voice. If you listen to her voice more than her dance then you can hear her live voice. sounds nothing like the studio version to me.

Watch carefully and u will see how her performance gets weird: raising rands but no F6, 1:36, 2:90, the whole climax is weird, etc). Her voice is weird, it sounds as a backtrack. Oh and 1:36 it wasnt just backtrack, she forgot to lip. And she kissing the mic lol.
