There are too many people like Jeanie in America who think that America is not only the best country in the world but also the only good country in the world. Saying that the US is the only country in the world where everyone has a voice is wrong. There are so many countries in the world that are a lot more FREE than the "free world" in reality. I really think American's need to know that because it's like they're blind to the rest of the world.
@thejen24
@thejen24 7 жыл бұрын
thetruthwillsetyoufree I don't think that's what she meant at all. she was speaking from her parents point of view when they were trying to escape communism. At that time, America was (and still is) the least homogenized country on earth. it's not about being "the best" is about being able to exist in a society where its safe to raise your children, and where there is democracy.

Isn't she JUST SUCH a good fit for the show? Like I love her on the show and she is so intelligent and speaks out of great wisdom. She didn't go to Adrienne wedding but she was still able to include herself so well in one of the other videos. Honestly, in my opinion she replaces Tamar so well and brings so much class to the table; LITERALLY! Like don't get me wrong, Tamar was lovely; but she had some ignorant views on certain things and I kinda felt she was then seeking for approval from others to collaborate her ignorance and she was just on TEAM TOO MUCH and it's not EVERYDAY SASSY, TWERKING, DOMINATING THE WHOLE TABLE (like it is ofcourse a panel) or just plain SHADY. Like DAMN! Now, I am just upset all over again!

I'm disgusted by Tamera sitting there comforting Jeannie while knowing she voted for Trump. She is playing the same game as Candace on The View sitting all quiet and silent but we see you Tam. Y'all know her husband voted for Trump and even saying that ''so what'' if his children are black he can still vote for Trump. So anyone that doubts Tamera voting for Trump OPEN YOUR EYES. It's mind boggling that she and her husband would give a vote to someone who will divide the country and give haters a leader. Even if you are a republican, how can those republican values stand higher than racism, fascism, misogyni and just plain old asshole behavior?

That's not right.
@MajesticMyronn
@MajesticMyronn 7 жыл бұрын
shilan erfatpour feili it doesn't matter because California got Hillary's vote , I could care less because her husband voted for Trump ! I know black people that voted for Trump , did I agree with them?!?! ABSOLUTELY NOT ! But I'm not gonna shun them because that's not my right to judge them based off of who they voted for ! As I long as I know who I voted for that's all that matters , and majority of the people in America voted for Hillary , but the ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTES ( which people barely even pay attention ) are the votes that actually count towards choosing who the president is ! & MAJORITY of the votes in California voted for Hillary !

I was a little disappointed in Tamera in this segment. She has been outspoken regarding critics of her interracial marriage and being the mother of two mixed race children. She's been harassed by internet trolls simply because of race and when she has an opportunity to speak out in support of those being harassed for the same reason and condemn those who do so, all she has to say is "I'm optimistic that there are more good people in this country than bad". I applaud Loni,Jeanie,Adrienne and Monica for being so open and honest. These kinds of conversations is what our country needs right now, regardless of which candidate you supported.

ubiquity I never said it was shocking. I simply said I wish she said more than she did considering her past experiences. As a black woman, I know how often we experience harassment but we are not the only ones. Muslim women, for example, are treated horribly in this country, especially those who wear hijab. In order to eliminate racism everyone should stand up against it regardless of your ethnicity. I'm sorry you misinterpreted my comment. God bless.

I'm sorry but I can't take Tamera seriously on any issues dealing with race relations. I've seen her husbands ignorant twitter timeline and I've been telling you guys this since season 1 but I got shutdown by some of you who wanted to swoon over this "perfect" marriage, even though the streets have long been talking about that situation(but you ain't heard that from me) Now it looks like some of you have woken up. I can't take her seriously since she married an incredibly ignorant man that works for an organization that spreads hate and falsehoods about black people and other minorities. She married a man who supports Trump, a candidate that normalized racism. Girl bye, that's why Tia will continue to be my favorite twin.

pixigirl999 wow the second her husband had gone in the whole "I don't see color" speech I knew it was all hogwash again anyone who is constantly on a wheel of "we need to unite" is kinda lying themselves I mean I'm not surprised but I didn't think she would stoop that low. So I've noticed it but I was afraid to call it out of fear of someone saying I was "jealous" when it has absolutely nothing to do with that its how she stays shut on certain topics racism specifically and other than that she's always has something to say.

People, please don't think that other minorities disregard the fact that the African-American communities have faced racism for so long. Of course we do. (I can't speak for everyone), but I definitely do. I've faced racism and discrimination as an Asian-American my whole life. Born and raised in Queens, NY and had people kick me, call me racial slurs, and ostracized me since I was a little girl. I know first hand how it feels. AND whenever we talked about black history in school or in college, I felt so strongly about it. I appreciated and listened to every word in the history books whenever we spoke about the events that happened to African-Americans in our history. It was the ONLY part of history that I related to because there wasn't much about Mexicans, Asians, or other races being discriminated. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. I FEEL IT. I'VE LIVED IT. Our next step is to unite. I am with you all and by all, I mean African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Muslims, Asian-Americans, EVERYONE. I agree that this is not a battle against minorities. we have to now come together more than ever. Finally the things that have been silenced for so long are finally coming out of the surface. This is a huge wake up call for EVERYONE. I sincerely hope that this changes America in a good way. Hopefully something good comes out of this. UNIFICATION AND REVOLUTION.

Jenny Pak Hey, I'm sorry about the type of experiences you used to have. I'm just curious as to which neighborhood you grew up in. I lived in NY until I was 7. I only experienced racism when I moved to NH which is one of the 3 most white state in America. I know there is racism in NY as well but the people in my state are way more upfront with it. I imagine most racism would happen in Manhattan since it is the most white borough. The only aspect I saw racism in NY is with the NYPD and the difference between white and minority citizens.
@jenniferpak1858
@jenniferpak1858 7 жыл бұрын
Janelle Allen Hello, I'm so sorry as well for the negative experiences you've had. I was born and raised in Queens, NY. Queens is huge so there is a vast variety of neighborhoods that are separated by race. Where I grew up, it was mostly suburban and a lot of whites. I've had white neighbors and kids call my parents and me racial slurs, destroyed our house property and being at school was just as bad growing up since it was predominately white. Some of my Asian friends have faced the same and have gone to schools dominated by white people, but then I had Asian friends who grew up in neighborhoods where minorities mostly lived and the schools as well and they didn't have much of the same experiences as me. If you grew up in Manhattan, it will be a whole different experience.. even Brooklyn or Bronx. New York city is great in that it is so diverse (it's beautiful), but we still have those racists in certain neighborhoods. It's unfortunate and incredibly disheartening that racists exist. This is why I feel so deeply about what the African-Americans went through in history. My good friend is also African-American and we relate so much because of the experiences and views that we have together. But to shed some light to all this nasty, I really hope that we all come together and allow each other the chance to share our stories and in return understand one another.

Tamera probably 100% voted for trump. Let's put the pieces together. For one, her husband wouldn't be caught dead supporting Hillary or anybody on Obama's team. He's said so many negative and awful things about the Obamas. Secondly, it is obvious Tamera would definitely support her husband and his values. If you've watched this show, it's pretty darn obvious she would. Thirdly, her husband works for FOX/he's a republican (no need for further explanation there). And finally, she was pretty unmoved by Jeanie's hurt and pain. Also, her whole, 'call me optimistic' rant is comical. People are being harassed and harmed both verbally and emotionally and she's here trying to sing kumbaya, always dancing around her true opinion. Also people saying that they are a mixed race family as an argument against them being trump supporters. Um, that's the same as a white person claiming he's not racist because his best friend is black or his girl friend is black. You CAN be in a relationship with a different race but still hold deeply rooted stereotypes or ideologies that are harmful to that group of people whether you mean to or not. Now, I suppose I respect her decision to vote for Trump because it's her right to vote for whoever she wants, so I'm not here to demean her for it. My comment is solely to point out that she probably did vote for him. Do I agree with it. Absolutely not. I'm with Jeanie on this one & my heart hurts as well.

There is a significant number of people spreading hate all over the country and optimism isn't gonna change that. What people need to do is stop crying and start standing up for themselves. It's clear to me that no one is gonna do it for you.

Kpop Tart I think what they meant to say is that we should stand for ourselves. There's so many good people in this world and those are the ones who need to stand together and unite to fight against all these issues.

A lot of these kids are being bullied by other kids. They need to know how to fight back, be it verbally or physically. Then some of these parents are picking their kids up from school early and not even confronting the issue. The only ones who truly can't defend themselves are kids being harassed by adults (though there are kids who will fight an adult), the elderly (if they can't get around etc.) and disabled people. There's a lot of able bodied people out here not doing anything and/or tryna be the bigger person. We see how that worked out when ol dude tried to be peaceful with Mayweather. He got knocked out. lol

I must say as a guy, it is so refreshing to hear mature, diverse, compassionate and God-fearing women speak on sensitive topics and make them relatable to our generstion. Kudos to u Tamera, Loni, Jeannie, Adrienne and Monica. 🙏✌😊😊👏

Why is Tamera getting so much flack for allegedly voting for Trump? Isn't what Democracy entails? She voted for the person who she deem was the best fit. If Trump was the one, then she is one of millions, who felt that way. She does not deserve such backlash. Some of the persons on this thread had more confidence in Hillary than they have in God. If we cry, GOd is in control, then it is only wise that we pray and let him do what he does best; ie. take control.

Loves Yehushua If she did vote trump, there seems to be a disconnect between the way Tamera presents herself, her values and her political views. Trump stands for everything she has previously said she is allegedly against. That's why

Loves Yehushua Well she claims to be a proud African American and an independent woman so if she voted for someone who makes not so nice comments about women and people of color then it does really go against everything Tamera says and it's hypocritical

everybody is upset that jeannie said the US is the only place with a semblance of freedom, but yall really have to understand that in the 70s and 80s, which is when a lot of first generation immigrant parents seen today immigrated, the US was known as the safe haven, that's what it was recognized and famous for.

I am a girl in Michigan. I was fortunately not at the school in Royal Oak, but I am COMPLETELY AGAINST what happened at that school. We as kids and just as people need to support eachother and not divide the country.
