Met Tracy Lawrence in the early 90’s at Pacolet Amphitheater in Pacolet SC ( if he remembers that place I’d be surprised) he was all over country radio but anyway he was as nice of a guy as he is today minus the mullet 🤣 top 5 one of my favorites 👍🏻 if you remember give me a heart

Hardys song writing is unbelievable to me and hearing nothing before about him as a person he was a mystery. He is delightful and charming. So glad to know him better. Out of our 3 major colleges I've always thought MS State people overall are very down to earth. I would invite him to dinner any day. Also enjoying this podcast more than any of the others I've checked out. I tip my 🎩 to Tracy Lawrence.

I discovered Hardy through Wait in the Truck because it hit home. I escaped an abusive husband with my little boy. It was something I was terrified of because I’m in intestinal failure and I have a little boy with autism. He would threaten to take him from because I’m in the hospital a lot, and I was terrified. But, I got us away, and it’s be me and him for the last few years because I put the SOB in prison. I had some guy friends that protected me one day after he sent me to the hospital and the song hit home. I started listening and just love Hardy’s music and his writing. I was bummed I couldn’t see him in Stl, single mom money can’t go to awesome tickets, but that’s okay because my lil man needs it more. It’s just great to see a country rocker who is a genuinely nice guy:

Hey Tracy I'm so happy to hear you and your guests confirm what I've always known to be true..... we can listen to and love Disturbed, Metallica and Waylon and Tracy Lawrence as well as Hardy and Jelly. I'm about your age and I was thinking that it could be just our generation that refused to be music snobs until my kid was at my house taking a shower and his playlist went from George Straight right into Sublime into Miranda then Tupac So to society I say "You are Welcome"

In 1977 kids were designed to smoke pot, drink beer, nod their heads, enjoy the music, and flic their bics at concerts. At least at the Foreigner, Heart, BobSeger, snd FleetwoodMac concert, that I went to in NewOrleans, that's what happened. Btw, we could bring in an ice chest with our own beer or liquor as long as it wasn't in metal or glass containers. Draft beer was sold in wax cartons like milk cartons at our local beer joint. I was 17. Nobody anywhere checked ID's. Nobody sat in the stadium seats, just milled around visiting the different smoke filled tents that were allowed in the stadium, along with the ice chests.. In the song, 'Hey Hey Baby, What Can I Do', Robert Plant sounds like a blues singer from the 1930-40's from the middle of MS'sippi.

Funny sign behind Hardy but the podcast i like you get to know more about the people or artist Bradshaw didn't he play college ball with Phil Robertson of duck dynasty and the Richard petty driving experience I'm about 45 minutes from Charlotte and I had the tickets to do the experience but never got around to it wish I did but as far as golf put me on a putt putt course where I can cut up and ack alittle goofy just makes a fun experience

It's really sad that you're pressured into using the word "harvest" in place of kill when talking about hunting. Some of the people in this country are a bunch of pansies! Not all, but some. When I was in my 20s my dad hunted deer and he didn't even know he had done it, but he put two bullets through one hole in the heart of one of his bucks. My mom found it and showed it to him! He said "wow, I was falling in the creek when I shot that deer! So that was a really LUCKY SHOT!

The way you describe the process of songwriting just sucks. That really sucks. Nobody really knows who their favorite artists really are then. They’re just saying words other people write. That’s really just sucks.
