I love the correlations starting at 0:50 Red geraniums + "As a result of loving/As a result of forgetting" Wanted poster & double-dollars + "As a result of acquiring/As a result of losing" The bullets + "As a result of living/As a result of dying" And then that final "you and me" where Vash is alone, looking happy, but is answered by nothing afterward? OW. Plus the shot of TriMax Wolfwood's bloodied hand with Vash reaching for it followed by the handshake in Stampede??? AAAHHHH. You can tell EVERY detail is intentional. I love this sm

God, those two panels with OG anime Vash and Wolfwood physically fucking hurt... Like, I cannot describe how much I love those two. Haven't seen the new anime yet, but seeing those two goofballs, and even Meryl and Millie... Fuck, I hate autism. I can't just articulate how much Trigun has truly helped me. That it's ok.to hurt. It's ok to have scars. That you should help people no matter what. That even just smiling can help you get through the hardest times. Vash and Wolfwood in particular are two of the best characters in any media I have ever seen or read, and I love both of them dearly. You did a great job with this video, your art is beautiful, and I hope you have a good day, wherever you are. :)

This song is really similar to Vash!!!!!!!! He cannot choose one. He doesn't want to hurt anyone... Also, I love their relationship. I don't know what to say, but one thing I can say is that this work is the best. I'm glad I was able to find this piece😭😭😭

I haven’t seen Trigun ( *yet* , don’t worry lol), but this still goes hard! Your compositions are so well-constructed and timed to hit with the lyrics; I love the typography and color choices too! So, I've only watched Trigun stampede, but there are other older versions of the anime, right? Are they all the same sorry or different iterations of the same one?? I've started watching the original trigun from 1998, but idk what else of trigun media there are. Does anyone have like a basic guide for a newbie? Lmao The art in this video is perfect. I love how clean all of the shots are even tho they're sketches

Ok so there's Trigun, Trigun Maximum, Trigun 1998, Trigun: Badlands Rumble and Trigun Stampede. Trigun and Trigun maximum(trimax) are the manga, respectively the first and second parts. Trigun has 20 chapters and trimax has 97. Full story, this is the very original and the most popular storyline Trigun 1998 (Trigun 98) is the original anime adaptation that mainly covers the events of Trigun but most of the episodes are filler. They're still fun though, so don't skip them. I haven't finished the anime yet but the non-filler story follows the manga relatively faithfully, except the end which I heard has its own sort of ending that deviates from the manga. Badlands rumble is uhhhh I think it takes place between episode 10 and 12 in Trigun 98? The fandom is really split on the movie and I also haven't watched it yet. I've heard no one really considers this movie as canon due to mischaracterization. But if anyone knows more about this, feel free to add on! Trigun stampede(tristamp) is the most recent anime adaptation/retelling that is the prequel to the events of Trigun/Trigun 98. It is the one that deviates the most but is, in my opinion, the one that is the most faithful to the original trimax/trigun thematic storytelling. I know I said it's a prequel but a lot of plot elements from the manga are already introduced in tristamp. Tl;dr I would consider them different iterations of the same story, but they all should be experienced! Since you've finished tristamp and you're starting Trigun 98, just finish that and then go to Trigun and then trimax. (Highly recommend looking up Trigun Overhaul on twitter/tumblr/reddit for updated, improved, and higher quality translations) Sorry for the long comment, hope this helps!
