I live in an apartment, which means that complicated construction doesn't work. This is so simple and something we're going to do this weekend, thank you so much for coming up with a way to make a table that doesn't involve expensive tools that the average person doesn't have lying around!!

This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection kzfaq.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

Thanks for the video. I just made a similar version for my computer desk in my garage. Came out really nice! I only used one set of pipes on the left, and the right and back sides are floating using a 2x4 I had. Very good video. Now my wife wants me to build a new dining room table haha!

I like what you've shared. I'm going to make a reclaimed American Chestnut & pipe table for our kitchen space this weekend. I'll be creating a plans and video set for them. Should be fun and no doubt a good compliment to your work. Thanks for sharing and I can see the materials list links in your description. Excellent resource for would be diy'ers.

Just built this table over the last two days. First - it turned out to be AMAZING and I can't thank the instructions and video enough for walking me through it. I ended up resizing and making a taller, thinner kitchen island. The entire project ended up costing $200 to make. Piping alone was $140 at Home Depot. Wood was $25. Random other things like stain, poly, sandpaper were about $30 as well. Still cheaper than purchasing (and WAY cooler making your own from scratch!) an already made table that would have cost you upwards of $800-2000 for the style. I would highly recommend giving it a go if you have the time and little bit of extra cash!

If you have a Menards in your area, their plumbing pipe is cheaper and it is just as good in quality as Lowes or Home Depot. You can also find it cheaper on Amazon. I made a toilet paper holder last weekend and it was only $5 for the pipe if that.

just finished making this table... it looks awesome. wish I could add photo here. your video was EXCELLENT... we are first-timers at something like this and had no real hiccups. did it all for about $250... pipes were the bulk of the cost (everything was purchased at our local home depot... and in a SINGLE trip). as far as the top screws... one the screws holes were puttied, sanded, stained and poly'd, they totally blend in with the distressed farmhouse look and I'd be hard pressed to even see them. The worst part was removing the price stickers on the pipes, half of which were covered in tape! basically just scraped them off with a razor. anyway... THANK YOU! the video was great... and I love your dog!

Rob Aubry, they are cool little projects, but keep in mind they aren't the best or smartest design or quality craftsmanship. Therfore, they really don't last long before they start to warp and /or break apart. Gluing and screwing only last so long, but there are a lot of better ways of doing things that will ensure the quality and longevity of your wood furniture and projects.

I am 3 D printer 4 corks to go in the feet (reducer couplings) of the legs so floors don't get marred. Will then put felt on them. You could not use the reducers and use the floor flanges on both ends. I would recommend biscuits or pegs and gluing the table top boards together before screwing down so there aren't cracks or warping for food to get caught in. It is coming out great. Box store wood isn't the best. Just the pipe was $300.00.at Lowes .I stained Red Oak. 4 coats of Poly so far.

I have always said you two are awesome. You have allowed me to build through your videos. One thing, can you put a cost for each build? Sometimes we get caught up not realizing the costs until it’s too late. I understand your cost will be different from my cost but still it gives us a gauge on the cost of the build. Thank you again and keep them videos coming.

Hey there Rehab Life makers! I love your table. It looks a lot like the one I created. Difference being the materials and how I offset my pipes. That said... I am promoting your video at the end of my video. Because our table are so darn close but also so different. I think your subscribers will love the comparisons and their ideas will expand. We do things differently and have different models but they do compliment one another. Keep on making~ #farmtable #industrialfarmtable #pipetable

Hey guys, nice work! I was wondering what your thoughts were of using reclaimed wood vs. new & stained wood. Any advantages or disadvantages? I'm not usually super pumped on how my stained wood turns out. It ends up looking pretty meh. But the reclaimed stuff has a natural wear to it which helps the furniture look more pro. Just wondering what your thoughts are.
