Walker is a level above gary neville now. Not even to dog on Gary, very consistent for a lot of years but I can guarantee you Gary himself would say Kyle has eclipsed him now. Can play as a full back, wing back and centre back, explosive pace, ridiculous strength, relishes the one v one challenges he comes up against. Unreal and underrated

Bellingham is extraordinary - most exciting player to *burst onto the scene* since Rooney, in my opinion. He was the last player to have that feeling of 'the sky's the limit'. I don't think Rooney fully lived yup to the promise he had at 18, but Bellingham looks more well rounded and more likely to succeed. Player of the month for Real Madrid in his first month playing - five goals in four games. Wow.

I always thought that a bit about Rooney, which is quite something, when you consider how good a player he was. It's just in the end he turned out a top 10-15 player in the world at his peak, rather than top 2-3... still obviously incredible but never fully reaching the heights of his youthful promise.

Thing to remember with Wilshere is that he both drank and smoked. There is a pattern when you look at a lot of the players who had major injury problems. Even someone like Joe Gomez who does look after himself has talked about how growing up he used to massively overdo it in the gym. There's usually a reason why players can't stay fit. Bellingham doesn't seem like the type to be going out partying, getting caught smoking in the changing rooms, etc.

There's more of an empahsis on fitness and speed and strength in todays football than ever before. Like Micah's story about how he knew if he ended up out a couple weeks he might lose his place to Zabaleta. It is easy to take the praise, but will he be able to take the s - - t that will surely come some time down the road? I get the train past Everton's new stadium once a week, and it is such a great stadium that it's just insane they could be a Championship club when they open it. As a red I am a little jealous of it, although I'd always prefer expanding Anfield because of the history. And whilst there is a sadness that we're almost coming to the end of the era of the two Liverpool clubs on either side of Stanley park, Everton's new stadium is really gonna be a sight to behold looking out over the Mersey. I hope they can get their act together. Just, not toooo successfully. Like if they're Europa League and we're Champions League. That'd work.

Only thing I would say about Walker v Neville, is that Walker has only really been right at the top for the last 4/5 years. Before that and despite playing at the likes of Spurs, he loved a mistake and actually, he was dropped from England on occasions (and plenty thought he was too prone to a mistake). Neville was right at the top for almost 20 years. Yes, not as technically sound, but far more consistent and that accounts for a lot. Easy to forget about that because Walker has been brilliant the last few years.

No one else to blame for his poor performances other than himself. The own goal doesn't happen if he doesn't just stick a lazy leg out.
