I don’t think it’s possible for the lap bar to snap on Ghost Rider. Unless you are talking about the additional seatbelt. If you are, that actually isn’t dangerous. That’s just a secondary restraint that does literally nothing. A lot of those kinds of coasters just don’t have the seatbelt.

The story was told wrong. The real story is as such. The daughter got on the ride with the mother and fell off like this person said. But they didnt fall off they just passed out and slipped through the seat belt. What fell was the mothers phone due to her trying to catch her daughter. They were both banned as the park has a scrict no phones on rides rule.
