11 жыл бұрынAs a part of the Art Project related to Les Fleurs du Mal, Therion have made a video clip for Christofer's fave song on the album; Mon Amour Mon Ami.
The clip was shot at Christofer Johnsson's decadent home Villa Adulruna and shows girlfriends brutally murdering band members, female band members murdering fellow band members and lovers.

I am french. I was looking for the song first sung by Marie La Forêt, then Virginie Ledoyen in « 8 femmes ». And I found this one... I am flabbergasted by this cover: the song and music are excellent, the singers are all excellents (first woman, the « latraviata » one, and the man). The clip itself reminds me a bit Hamlet (the skull) and Psycho (Hitchcok, with the stabbing in the shower). And of course, it is about destructive love, which is a side of that feeling that most humans deny, while it is actually more common than that... Bravo Therion, I didn’t know you before « Summernight City » and this one, but I will for sure look for some of your songs

Funny how often people label a band as "one thing" and as soon as they deviate from that "norm" they're going downhill. Therion has been constantly changing over the years yet these videos are causing people to say "R.I.P Therion". i'd say these people's precious "golden age" Therion never existed. it was just one of many steps they've taken in music in their 25 years. just my thoughts.

This is just showing the finer side of Therion, the old English fine wine side of their roots if you understand what I'm saying. Not my personal favorite, decided not to buy after one listen but I'm back again. This track in particular is really good. I think it was the language that threw me off last time.

And Therion is probably also the only band on the planet that can make a cover album of old French pop songs and most of their fans don't understand it's a cover album. Or they understand it, but still compare it with their regular releases. In some ways Therion is more like a musical phenomena than a band. I guess that's why I'm still having a theoretical interest in the band even though I'm only enjoying listening to their early death metal stuff.

Un clip hyper travaillé au niveau de l'esthétique , les décors , les costumes , les ambiances et les assassinats tout est beau , du velours ce clip. Cette ambiance gothique , presque Victorienne est fabuleuse. Merci Therion

I think it is their use of the augmented fourth/diminshed fifth which is also known as "the devils interval" the musical interval was actually banned from music as it was considered "evil sounding and ungodly" Probably that ;)

All is perfect in this work- the music, the lyrics, and the video...It's a little sad and dramatic as a plot, but it's also a masterpiece! Therion are brilliant creators and performers, as always!

песня просто шикарна, несколько недель уже слушаю и только сегодня взялась посмотреть клип....он просто ужасный...эти жуткие сцены убийства, эта кровь везде....просто садо-мазо какое-то....теперь даже не знаю что и думать насчет песни П.С. тем более, так как я знаю французский, смысл текста очень хороший, душевный, о том что любовь она одна и навсегда...а после просмотра видео даже и не знаю....
