Llegas a una edad en la que te das cuenta que todas...toooodas las bandas experimentan y pasan por diferentes faces, cuando ya has vivido y disfrutado tanto de ellos que haces retrospectiva en youtube y te quedas pasmado de ver tanto cambio. De jóvenes no nos gusta que nueatra banda favorita haga eso, pero ya de mayor es lo de menos, si de verdad te gusta el rock y la esencia de tu música lo metamorfo no importa.

This is what i like Therion... They always try new things and continue to evolve... i like all their albums (Of Darkness --> Sitra Ahra)

I was 15 back in 2009 when this came out, and this video / song introduced me to the wonderful world of Therion. Gothic Kabbalah is still to this day one of my favourite albums of all time. 8 years later and a few hundred listens later, it stands as one of the best to me. Would definitely put this album in my top 10.

I'm more a Djent deathcore guy but this type of bands are greats!! they are talented, fluid and versatile as the song progresses... i mean i like the "melody" thats is laking in every contemporary song.

Man, Therion evolves and create Operatic metal, Epica and others just follow the flow that Therion emanates. About the guy who sing, well maybe is him who don't fits, that's why today he is not the singer of Therion, the band gets someone more versatile listen the entire album Sitra Ahra. But I am agree with the fact that Therion's death metal were great, I have all Therion's death metal and those abums kick ass

The whole album is based on concepts from the life of 17th-century esoteric scholar Johannes Bureus, and in this track they referred to him as "Byrger Tidesson " He is known for his runic system

Why incorporate opera? Because it's freakin' brilliant. If you want heavier metal, go elsewhere. They are millions of these death/heavy/power metal bands everywhere, but very few operatic metal bands in comparison. And of course, there is only one Therion.

I think it would've been better if it was just the guy singing, doesn't sound far from power metal and heavy, why have the opera? Ill rather listen to Epica or Visions of Atlantis. But good song, and old school death metal Therion was badass!!!
