Learned a lot from this video. I thought I had a defective transmitter but after seeing this video I learned that the probe plug in was not in far enough. Pushed the plug in harder and all is well.

Great tutorial, easier then reading the instructions. And thanks for a strait foreword video instead of doing a bunch of stupid crap trying to be funny like others do. Strait, to the point and a great job of telling me what I wanted to know.

Is there a way to set it so if the temperature goes below a set temperature the alarm will sound ?

I thought you would comment on the grill temp alarms function, could you confirm whether you can set a low and high temp alarm for your grill and it will alert you anytime it goes outside those parameters?

Sorry for the delay. yes you can set high temperature alarms by setting the meat selection on program. Then you can run it up to what temperature you want. Another way is you can change the temperature that is preset for the meats. For example, you have it set on pork and it says 160f it will alarm. you can increase or decrease that temperature with the arrows. As far as a low temperature alarm, there isn't one unfortunately. I wish it had that ability for when I'm using my smoker. Well hopefully that helped, and thanks for watching my video. Like and subscribe if you want to see more!

I set it to "your " 1 Hour setting, and in 1 minute the alarm went off. It says there is an Hour setting and Minute setting, as I would like to count down for 5 hours. Help!!!!!
