Man Rock, you and Stone Cold were the 2 guys that made me start back watching wrestling after I found out that it was not "real". The Rock went from a stupid looking pine apple haircut and even stupid looking blue wrestling gear to the most electrifying man in wrestling. From his Bulls wrestling gear to his haircut to his If you smell entrance to to his catchphrases to his Rock Bottom all are legendary. Really inspiring. God bless my fav wrestler of all time.❤

There are no real "Super Heroes" anymore. Okay.. Dwayne is one of the last, but with his Movies he destroyed much. More and more of the real entertaining Wrestlers going to AEW.

ill never forget as a kid watching this PPV and watching the rock coming out. So much energy was coming from the rock. and that's all I could remember months after his debut. fast forward to 2022 each time I see the rock walk out to any event my mind goes back to his debut in survivor series for a split sec, Like wow !! this what Growth looks like.

My brother was a big Rocky Johnson fan (twelve years age difference), so when he heard about his son making a debut, he begged my parents to let him watch the fight with his friends. I was seven years old, and I weaseled myself in there to watch it! I still remember this, and it was so much fun! I remember LOATHING Gold Dust - he might as well have slapped my grandmother lmfao Man. This might be my favourite throwback, ever!

They both had the best mic skills at the time but the Rock was a bit more electrifying. They're literally neck and neck with Rock winning the slight edgem This I just my opinion. Those are top 2 guys to elevate the league in the mid/late 90's ushering into the attitude era. Not to take away from everyone else. The talent was way better then

Not many wrestlers had a debut like The Rock - he debuted at Madison Square Garden, at Survivor Series (one of the Big 4 pay-per-views), and won a 4v4 elimination match with him being the last man standing. The Undertaker didn't even last until the end on his debut match (which was also a 4v4 elimination match) at Survivor Series 1990.

I don't think anyone did. Another classic example of the WWF/E's creative machine sticking someone with a lame gimmick. He was all but finished until he went down the road Steve Austin took to get out of his own stupid character at the time and began to be more himself which is even moreso the problem now days where guys are completely scripted and taught to play dumb characters. Rock, Austin, Undertaker are all examples of what can happen when guys are granted a little freedom to infuse their own personality into the mix. Especially Taker. He took a gimmick that could've easily been one of the more laughable lame characters in WWF/E history and made it legendary.

What I love about Mr. Johnson is that despite his success in the ring, and having the most success OUTSIDE of the ring as well, he's ALWAYS remained humble. He truly appreciates every opportunity given to him and genuinely appreciates those who support him. I've seen countless wrestling shoot videos and not a single wrestler or actor has ever had anything negative to say about him. He's truly a stand up guy.

And yes, he did, along with the entire film crew have a problem with Diesel making them wait every day for 2-3 hours before they could begin filming. So he called him out about it.
