Their manner of speech is often not intelligible. Many have a regional dialect. There can be a difference. But at some point the speech becomes other. ¿What are you saying? Charlize wants to be the girl next door. She doesn't want her upbringing, speaking Afrikaans, to be the subject. Leonard Nimoy(Spock) had to take voice lessons to drop his ethnic Boston accent. Arnold can be cute speaking with an Austrian accent. For those trying to break into Hollywood, it helps to be special and white bread at the same time. Actors of today keep their given name, but in the past they would change it to sound generic, typical American.

This is really fascinating to see because the effect of talking to their peers and not interviewers loosens them up. I can't remember seeing famous actors looking and sounding more like normal people before. You feel like you are finally seeing behind the media projection.

Its refreshing to hear them talking normal, cursing and shooting the breeze more or less. its complete contrast to chat shows like ellen, letterman, etc. where it's just daft pre-scripted anecdotes. This type of scenario more of their true character. But then again its such a talented room maybe they're all playing roles here too.

When i look at michael fassbender's face, i think he could actually play a young christopher plummer. Look at the lines of his face, the expression of his eyes. Look at plummer in waterloo, scarlet and the black etc. They have very similar features.

She's an activist for animal rights, she works for the Africa Outreach Project and I think she's really someone who cares. I hope I didn't make any mistake this time, I'm trying ;)
