About The Rose
The Rose is a Korean indie rock band comprised of four talented members: vocalist and guitarist Woosung, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Dojoon, bassist Jaehyeong, and drummer Hajoon. Renowned since their inception for electrifying performances, The Rose quickly became one of Korea's most sought-after groups delivering a series of critically acclaimed albums that resonated with fans worldwide. In 2019, three of the band members temporarily went on hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service obligations, during which Woosung pursued a successful solo career, releasing captivating albums and embarking on sold-out world tours.
In a moment of sheer joy for their devoted fans, The Rose reunited during one of Woosung's performances in South Korea in 2022. This reunion paved the way for their first full-length album HEAL, which was inspired by the transformative power of music and the stories shared by both their fans and themselves. HEAL soared to #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart, while their accompanying HEAL Together World Tour drew an overwhelming crowd of over 90,000 attendees.

This is a phenomenal band. I had never heard of The Rose until Woosung collaborated with AgustD on Snooze. I was completely captivated by his voice and only then did I find the treasure trove of musical performances that comes from The Rose and Woosung's solo projects. We need to spread the word!

First things first, @ 1:06 Dojoon slayed it with his smile and expressions. It was really cool. My jaw literally dropped. Coming back to the music and the music video, the concept was really impressive and worked really well with the color theme. I think I have used all the good adjectives I know on the previous works of The Rose and am left with nothing more. These four guys never disappoint, rather they set the bar higher each time they make a comeback. Fly higher and higher. All the black roses are rooting for you.

its because they are not kpop, they come from Korea but said many times that they consider themselves as brit pop, so kpop fans are not the public they are aiming for. For an indie band they are actually very successful.

Although I have known and loved The Rose❤ for a long time, I heard this song recently. I believe that everything has its time and I heard this song when I needed it. After the words "Lost my color or maybe somebody stole it", I felt like I had been drowning for a long time, but I didn't feel it. And suddenly I couldn't get enough air and I wanted to float to the surface...When I heard the words "Baby, I'm alive", I cried for the first time in a long time. I love this song so much. What a new sound coming from my boys. I also love this whole DUAL concept and how on this track Dojoon is the vocal driving force. While on their other track Back to Me, Woosung is the driving force vocally. Not sure if they did this intentionally, but I love that change. Because Dojoon's voice fits this song very well sonically since there's a lot going on and the clean sound that Dojoon's voice brings to this balances everything tone wise (with Woosung's rasp sprinkled brilliantly throughout). Also, the ending to this song with Woosung's grit and rasp. OOMPH. I am SOOOO excited for this new album.

What I like the most at The Rose is the fact that the visuals don't steal the place of the music. No bling-bling, no weird costumes, 100% music. ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹

Coz they are bands not boygroup like DUHHH!!!is this ur 1st time Stanning Kpop bands!?., tell me if whose bands wear some BLING bling and focus on their faces more and costume!???. . __ Come-on LOTS OF KPOP BANDS are so underrated atleast try listen to them their so much to offer not just your weirdo costume and bling bling in mind... DAY6 the 2nd era of kpop band,, b4 was CNBLUE, FTISLAND so on so forth,.. in these generation we have ONEWE, HOPPIPOLLA, THE ROSE, LUCY, N. FLYING so on so forth... Every band has its own story and music to tell costume and styling is part of their new generation style.. I suggest listen to DAY6 too its one of the best band back in 16-17-18 I Stan them. Sadly they bieng seperate for some reason but the band still exist... Day6 music are the best their my ult band b4 their music are great so beautiful, then started to like THE ROSE, DAY6 introduced me the rose, then I discovered some bands too like LUCY, HOPPIPOLLA, N. FLYING, ONEWE... And just for clarify day6 original members are 5 the best 5 . Listen their music were all of them are still complete, u will literally love the DAY6 music esp their old era were all of them are still complete.

Also the thing about THE ROSE that make a little off for me was their songs... their Lyrics in a song always sounds repetitive the Intire 3 mins.. There's lot of Kpop Band that their songs literally all lyrics are very creative were the song if u listen is not just simple wordings that in an Intire song are just the same are rerfrain and bridge like THE ROSE song feels...

Amazing. Seriously I am an older fan of Woosung and the Rose, MAJOR 80s vibes here! Such a great video and song! I grew up with MTV when they actually played videos, and this immediately made me think of an 80s video. But with that said, The Rose 🌹 are so great musically and I am never disappointed with ANY of their work. I am a huge fan of Woosung, his voice is so distinctive, and he writes such great songs. I love that, after everything, the four of you are in a place where you can experiment with your sound, try something new, and release something that a label might consider "risky" and Black Roses are here to support you (as always). Also, Dojoon with the lead vocals! It's like God thought, "and here I'll add some Talent" and just dumped the whole bottle in and left none for the rest of us.

Literal (tornado) sirens going off when this dropped. I love this song and Dojoon's vocals. There's an 80s vibe to the song and video and I love it. The B&W concept really allows you to focus on the music and lyrics. The Rose are rock stars! Looking forward to the whole DUAL album. 🌹

This song contains so many emotions. A rare masterpiece song that actually expresses a tough emotion of pain + hopelessness + yet hoping to hold on in life. Its a song that comforted me as I heard it. Can their fandom help me may I get to know if this group has ballad songs too? I'm an insomnia (dreamcatcher) that came across this!! Really loved it!! ❤
