Everyone's hating on Connie because of what she did to cause the downfall of last episode. But I think she did it on purpose. I think Connie thought fusing into Stevonnie would inspire the gems in the ball, she's smart after all. Maybe because of what Connie did, an uprising would start on homeworld. Cross gem fusions would pop out! This is my theory though...

Connie is a kid and you know kids can get bored easily, I still do and I am 18 lol. They could of unfused but then everyone else fused to make a big deal. I think if was more of making Steven smile, she didn't to fuse intentionally Yes she is smart but she is still growing up. Everyone makes mistakes, people are making seem like connie has to always be the smart one and she cant make mistakes

I think she mighta just wanted to cheer steven up. The plan to talk to white diamond failed so it felt like they could do whatever. Thinking about it, I think that's a pretty reasonable response even if it was foolish in retrospect.

White in the end coming to stephen and saying “ starlight why?” And letting him actually talk and explain everything in full detail then she tells him about the war with the cat creatures of The feline nebula and their ongoing war is why they are so against normal organic creatures and her absence was so devastating for home world. But would be willing to leave earth alone and try to heal corruption if the earthlings are advanced enough now to help in the fight against the frozen cats.

I'm confused as to why people keep thinking that the reason why White Pearl was punished was because when she was Pink Pearl, she and Pink Diamond fused? That doesn't make sense because in Now We're Only Falling Apart, Rose literally states that she has never even heard of cross gem fusion, and asked if that was even possible. Her and Pearl fusing was probably the first time Pink ever fused so why would she and White Pearl have fused?

HOLD UP!!!!! So you said how gems may need light to survive, or at least stay in a good condition, then their gem mist be exposed to light, right? Now let's travel back to "3 Gems and a Baby." When Greg was sitting with Steven and his *buttoned up* onzey, Steven started to cry and get upset, then opening the buttons around the gem, having it be exposed to light! Great even questioned if it needed to breathe! This HAS to be foreshadowing!!!!! Please if you agree like this I want the Roundtable to see my idea and I want to hear their opinion!

This isnt even a theory, its basically confirmed SPOILERS On IMDB the next episodes are already Listed, if you look at "escapism" and look at the credited Voice actors, the Va for Lars is Listed. In "battle of Heart and Mind" Lars, Peridot, Lapis, Bismuth, Padparadscha Sapphire, Rutile, Fluorite and Rhodonite are Listed, along with Blue,Yellow and White Diamond, and our Main cast of course (also Stevonnie again)

I HAVE A THEORY: okay, remember when Aquamarine said that shattering wasn’t even close to the worst thing the diamonds could do to gems? Well, I think that what white did to Pink Pearl, something I’m going to refer to as “Correction”, is the worst thing they can do besides corruption. Steven means something to the diamonds because he’s Pink Diamond, but it’s clear that they just think his friends are a nuisance and encouraging him to be chaotic, so I think White is going to “correct” them the same way she corrected her pearl, and Steven is going to be alone with just Connie and having to fight through all his friends in order to get to White and discover his power as a diamond in order to change them back himself or make White change them back or just become the new White Diamond since, in the real world, a pink diamond is just an “over cooked” White Diamond.

I'm pretty sure the pebble was doing something significant to Steven's phone. Also, it automatically used it and knew how it's working as if it created it. Also. Steven usually connects to whoever he was most recently thinking of or to someone who needs help. So I hope he actually connects to old Pink Pearl. haha.. Far fetched ??

I think the scene of Steven flying toward a bright light in the mindscape will happen. My guess is that's White Diamond's mind. He might try to talk to White Diamond through the mindscape but get kicked out because she's better at it than him and knows how to repel him with her "DAZZLING BRIGHTNESS".

So remember baby Steven and his dad had all the buttons up then Steven was crying but Greg opened the buttons and let the gem out and Steven was relieved I think that has a lot to do with the dark chamber maybe Steven will start to feel uncomfortable if it's dark almost like a smothering feeling. Let me add that this is just my thoughts and obviously it could be wrong.

GUYS HERE’S SOMETHING I WANT TO HAPPEN So Garnet got poofed(along with everyone else of course) which means she’s split(ok rly they just got back together). So if Lars is the one Steven and Connie are gonna call, what if RHODONITE is forced to split? Like the Pearl inside her is needed or something? Idk just somehow. This light idea makes sense noting Steven's discomfort when his gem was closed up under his onesie as a baby (darkness). and how happy he was when the gem was freed after Greg cut the hole in it (light).

I just realized. Remember in the flashback episode of Steven as a baby. He didn't like when his gem was covered. Maybe his dad was wrong, it's not that gems need to breath, but that they need to be bathed in light. True Stevens gem isn't always showing, but Steven is also half organic, so he doesn't need as much light as a regular gem would, but in complete darkness, Stevens would begin to become weak. That could also explain why homeworld hasn't really been shown at night yet. Maybe there is no true night in homeworld, only different amounts of day, seeing as gems don't need sleep, they also don't need night time.

I think a gem, especially a human gem hybrid like Steven, would have to be in the dark for a VERY long time for any real change to occur, considering we've seen gems be in the dark for long periods of time, like when it's nighttime. I also wonder about Lapis and Jasper because they were at the bottom of the ocean for a WHILE which isn't exactly the lightest and brightest place to be.

@@jwilson5594 I dont think that is true. although that could be a possibility, I think that Pink was overcooked or created in some wrong way. While it does appear that Diamonds may be created differently than other gems according to Pink's drawings, i believe she was not as small as she appeared in jungle moon, however she was definately not as big as the other Diamonds. Her chair in the ball room must have been made close to her creation. Notice how much smaller it is compared to the other diamonds. Also, she is supposed to be a direct opposite of white, or something close to that. In that case, it only makes sense that she is the smallest Diamond because white is the largest diamond.

Good thing they have TWO easy options to get help from the outside (the phones and Steven´s ghost possesion ability); as otherwise "by default" this is what would have happened: 1) They spent a few days waiting (with no food or water). 2) As both start becoming weak from dehydration, Connie either dies first [Steven having some resistance from being half-gem] or she purpously sacrifices herself (biting her own veins to bleedout before Steven gets too weak to escape). 3) In any case, Steven resurrects Connie using his tears [knowing she will come back without the need to eat, drink or sleep]. 4) Using her hair to reach that shared dimensional space, he looks out for the area around the tree corresponding to Lars and uses it to exit into his spaceship. 5) They came back to rescue the Crystal Gems and pink!zombie!Connie.

I believe that the White Pearl may have some role to play in Escapism. If she was originally Pink's Pearl, she may have been the first gem who ever understood Pink, and that may have been the very reason for White Diamond taking her away from Pink. So perhaps W.Pearl remembers who she was, and is still loyal to Pink, and allows Steven to escape in the last minute

For me, that light before Steven raises his head and exclaims might be the aura of White Pearl or White Diamond. Steven might realize that he can use the same platform or method of getting through Blue and Yellow back in "Reunited" to get in touch with White Diamond. In the process, he may be able to get into White Pearl's mind instead, and know what actually happened to her and how to get to White Diamond.

It's kind of far fetched but for a while I thought escapism would be a peridot and lapis song because the opening chords were similar to "peace and love on the planet earth" and the lyrics would be about lapis needing to return to homeworld to save steven even though she doesn't like it there.

Two things 1) In three gems and a baby, baby steven wanted his gem out and in the open. What if that was foreshadowing that steven without light will start to feel pain or something like that. 2) I still say that Lars is just lost and has no idea where Earth is, that's why homeworld's "fastest ship" is taking so long when the ancient leg ship only took a few hours. The leg ship had homeworld on its map while the sun chaser is just wandering around. so Lars could make it back to homeworld in a few minutes if it's on his map.

About the jade fusion, in a episode of the roundtable, he said that a fusion of two of the same gems but with unique relationship could result with a brand new gem, so the further we look into thier relationship, the more likely it is to be a brand new gem than just a bigger version of the previous two gems, maybe an olivine

My theory is that white diamond has the powers of possession besides mind control this is shown by white perl and since white never leves her ship possession would work as a form of going to place to place also the white seeing steven in his dream.
