Any actor who takes his family name very seriously and has the talent to back it up deserves roles in movies. People like Tiger, Ananya, Varun, etc take their position in the film industry to be granted. That's what's irritating. Ranbir seems to be a very self-conscious person who's aware of the constant scrutiny his performances go through due to him being a star kid. He's always trying to live up to it. So , except for the occasional disaster like Shamshera, he mostly does well in his movies .

You need to see Rockstar, that along with Barfi has the two best Ranbir performances. His character here is similar to the one in Rockstar (angry, obsessive, on a path of self destruction) only difference is he's doing action here. Btw Rockstar k gaane legendary hai, aur Animal also has a bunch of songs.

It looks like Ranbir ne apne emotions kafi time se pressed rakhe..and Animal has blown that lid off. Emotions & Action 💥and Bobby from Ashram has given excellent performances👍That long hair & beard look with shades is best 👌

Rabir Kapoor has done so many genre of movies, YJHD, BRAHMASTRA, BARFI, JAGGA JASOOS, ROCKSTAR, ANIMAL, WAKE UP SID, ROCKET SINGH, SANJU, etc This is what I want from a starkid, they don't have to worry about PAYING RENT/EMI of house or stuff luke that, they have freedom to take their time and select good movies, unlike struggling actors who might have to do bad films just so that they can get the money and pay their everyday expenses like housing, kids education, etc That is why you see Ranbir, Alia, Hritik, etc on top and loved by everyone, even after being starkids, meanwhile look at Tiger Shroff, like wtf ??? He really needs to learn. Hell even Jhanvi Kapoor tried different stuff with Mili and Varun Dhawan with films like October, Badlapur, etc but Tiger keeps doing the same things, just that he does it worse every time. Recent Ganpath film was so bad, even Adipurush felt better.
