THANK YOU. Finally someone that isn't an idiot. Sniping is not camping. when you camp, you wait for someone to fall into your lap, sniping you can't do that (for obvious reasons). You actually look for people when sniping, you don't wait for them to come to you

Never once understood why everyone used the Intervention or Barrett when the WA2000 did the same one shot kill damage but had less recoil and shot fast.

One time it was a 3 shot kill for me to use the wa2000. The intervention had the most damage in the game I believe.

I soooo miss this game. I still enjoy Call of Duty, but this one was incredibly fun to play, and I was really good at it. I loved the sniping here! Except for that quickscope bullshit... Good ol' days. :')

Some of them haven’t even seen a video game in years, some of them were in high school when they were in this vid getting shit on and now lead nice lives. Hell, a few of them might even be dead. hands down the best call of duty to this day IMO. the maps were so great. the guns were so well balanced. kill streaks were amazing. I really think they are doing this modern warfare addition with infinite warfare to see if they can make enough money to do a remastered modern warfare series. I think if sales are good enough they will go through with it and we will see remastered version of mw2 and mw3. I would much rather have those then more boost jumping garbage and space warfare.

Ummm, the whole point of MW2 that differentiates it from other games/CODs is that it's broken. The gun balance is utter shit, and killstreaks are easy to get to/build upon. It's not very competitive, but still fun and more easily accessible to new[er] players than high skill/highly competitive games like Halo and Battlefield. The thing about those games is that it takes a lot of time and effort to learn. In MW2, you can just sprint around like an idiot with commando/tac knife, or camp, or one-man army noobtube dangerclose, or abuse aim assist by quickscoping, or cheese from across the map with the UMP45, or use the L86 to 2 shot people w/ stopping power, etc.. The point is, MW2's multiplayer was a poorly made mess that was unbalanced and benefited noobs. However, the chaos that was MW2 and its metagame made it fun. To some people at least.

It's funny too, 'cause Infinity Ward fired a bunch of people after MW2's release. That's also why the entire game didn't get properly patched. I mean c'mon, how do you explain the FAMAS w/ SP? Or any gun with SP? The only thing that they did well in terms of patching was the Model 1887.

you are right. MW2 is broken, but I still think it is best CoD (or CoD4 is, basically, i can hardly make a decision). MW2 had the most flavour, with all the crazy weapons, killstreaks etc, it was a brutal fast paced thing, where the only real skill that actually helped were good reflexes. The maps were also great. But yes, you could easily benefit yourself by using some bullshit broken thing, like the OMA with noob tubes (total nonsense). It is particullary funny how OP most of the guns are. I mean, the UMP had beyond AR-class damage (40-35), you could 2 shot anyone across the map with the L86 and the RPD, the secondaries were easily usable as primaries (G18 akimbo, M93R, SPAS12, etc.), and barely any gun had recoil (MP5K, F2000), But from your point of view, as a conclusion, was MW2 rather fun, or unplayable?

I don't consider the guns OP they're realistic with the way you can completely annihilate people with them. I mean yeah the commando pro was a bit much but that's what made it so fun and quick paced to the point were your heartbeat was out of your chest cause you didn't know whether you gonna wreck the next person or get handed some bullshit. MW2 was a masterpiece.

+lazerhedehog1 even in there, no one checks rooms and such. I've been playing FPS since Call of duty 3 for PS2. Every year it got more realist ever game was a step up it peak at world at war with exploding limbs. You shoot arms they flew off. Little stuff like that you don't see anymore on any FPS. Plus look at da69expert1 he showed such maturity for a M rated game.

Kavon Jones Lol so dumb. Call of duty is one of the most unrealistic games of all time. Its a fast paced shooter intended to give you a fast game without giving a shit about checking corners, or watching your back. i dont think people die instantly from getting shot in the foot. i dont think throwing knives kill people in one shot to the foot. Keep thinking call of duty and battlefield are realsitic shooters and give them more money. We will see how realistic it gets. Oh wait itll never happen

quik question do ac130s count twards your kill streaks? cause my kill streaks are emergency package emp and nuke and if i get a ac130 in my emergency package and get say 10 kills i dont get a EMP and even if i dont die.

the sounds and sound effects are perfect in this game... just listen to his wa2000 and the hitmarkers, its soo nicce... and the graphics are the best of any cod too
