Do you ever see the people from where you adopted Pollux?...poor guy was there so long and is so handsome it's hard to believe that he hadn't been adopted. I thought I was probably the only person to carry on full conversations with my animals. Casper Kitty and Whisper do not go to bed unless Mom comes home, pets them, and talks to them each day or night. Das can feed them but without my love, Casper, especially, will not eat. It is so evident how much you love the babies, Randy, and your Daughters.

Before the haircut, Maxxie looked like something between a baby seal and a polar bear cub. So sweet! Pollux has that tender, shy and a little naughty look in his eyes, so expressive! They are so cute and lovable, both with their quirks and funny habits. You are a great family to them!

Yes…it’s so quiet when Rusty is not with me. It’s amazing how a person gets used to hearing the “clicking of their nails” on the floor. Pollux & Maxxie look very handsome. 👍🐶😊👏 If they are like Rusty after a grooming…they are going to need a nap. 💤 (A “Judy”…😜😂🤣👏👍)

I immediately ordered the ChomChom Roller when you previously gave it a review. I own an undersized 18 year old black cat with bronze colored eyes. She is a tiny beauty and a super shedder. I have owned several cats during my life and little ZouZou is the worst shedder of all. But guess what? Cat hair is much finer than dog hair and ChomChom does nothing to pick up her hair. Several people in my building have dogs and I finally picked one to be the lucky recipient of my ChomChom Roller. It is a very nice woman who rescued a huge white dog that was slated for part of the clean out at the shelter for all the dogs that no one wanted and had been there for too long. Her dog is enormous, snow white and a trial and a tribulation for this woman. She is having trouble getting into the alpha position with this beautiful, stubborn dog. Love your boys. Being a schnauzer owner I'm always particularly taken with Maxxie. I find their characteristics very amusing. I love how Pollux loves his toys; it's just so sweet. My girl sometimes takes all her toys out also and I just get them cleaned up and they are all out again. I love grooming day.

I usually keep a tshirt on her to help hold in all that hair & it does help me. What we do for our sweet fur babies!🥰

My grandsons got their first dog a couple of weeks ago. Sooty is a pure cocker spaniel and thankfully doesn’t shed like Pollux. There’s no way my daughter would have the patience you have Renee for cleaning the fur. We are enjoying the joys a doggo brings to family life.

I also get the yawnies on damp, overcast, chilly days. Might have to do with air quality or low barometric pressure. Earl and Henrietta are inseparable soulmates---they told Pollux they must spend every moment together in their own dedicated space so Pollux happily obliged. Only thing missing from this video was Mooie's usual post-grooming roll around in the backyard grass.😂😂 He enjoys it but we know you don't ! You know what they say....boys will be boys.

Hi Renee, loved watching the boys this morning! I’ll share a laundry tip….put a couple of aluminum foil balls in the washing machine when washing the dog blankets and your clothes. It will help with static cling and help remove the hair from the blankets and clothes. I did this while I had my beagle, she did shed a lot. It works well! Have a great day!

My mother was a breeder of Persians and I have always had long haired cats -- Persians and Maine Coons that are wonderful but shed. A less expensive option that has always worked very well for me is designating a sponge (the yellow sponge with green on the other side) dampen the sponge, wipe on the couch in one direction and all of the hair will come off. What is particularly great about using the dampened sponge is that it will get into the crevices along the welting on the edges of the couch. I have done this for decades for any upholstery (car, couches, pillows in the couches, etc) and it works like a charm. I would add that if the sponge is large, just cut it width-wise and make two smaller sponges which will be much easier to handle. The "upholstery" sponges are placed in their own labeled zip lock bag once they have been rinsed out after use so there is no confusion and accidentally using them for the dishes! That could be a problem! Perhaps this suggestion will be useful! ✨🧡✨

Loved the video. I'm like Sharon I didn't want it to end. Since 3 of my dogs died I now have a Yorkie thats 7 yrs old. He belonged to my brother who passed away in June of last year. I have a rescue dog my daughter came across who is 1 year old and lived outside with big dogs. She sheds big clumps of hair. She is about the size of Maxxie. Your video hit my spot so I watched it twice. Going to watch it again. Thank You it has blessed me this morning.

My two little dogs are going to the groomer on Friday (Tuesday now). I love it when they get home, but always hate grooming days because they're gone during the day and I miss them so much! A couple of little tips. You mentioned drooling during car rides? Drooling can be a sign of anxiety, but it can also be a sign of nausea in dogs. You might have a little car sickness. Ask your vet about this and he or she can give you something to help if it is nausea. One of our little dogs gets really car sick if she's in the car more than 10 or 15 minutes and we give her a pill (Cerenia) about 30 minutes before we leave and she's just fine--no nausea at all. Cerenia is a prescription med, but our vet said it's really safe and is really safe to be used for once or twice a week car rides. Second tip, get yourself a "hand brush" for dogs and go over Pollux once a day. He'll think he's getting petted (instead of being groomed). Just do an Amazon search on hand brush. My personal preference (and yours may be different) is the ones that are like gloves. You slip your hands into them and then just spend a few minutes petting your dog. They will get lots of hair off and you can have it all in one location rather than spread all over your couches, blankets, beds, etc. It shouldn't take more than 5 to 10 minutes each day to do Pollux. I did this with my Great Danes (the Irish Wolfhounds required more extensive and time-consuming grooming) each day and I could do a Great Dane in 15 minutes. As we got older and our larger dogs left us, we didn't get larger ones again. I do miss my Danes and especially miss my Wolfhounds (although I love the two little guys we have now to distraction).

UPDATE: Ok, had to take the girls to the groomer yesterday so I had my first opportunity to use Rescue Remedy. My one dog loses her mind when she has to get in the car so I gave her about half a vial and waited 20 mins before leaving the house. It had zero impact on her. Next time I will give her a full vial and wait 30 mins before leaving the house. Hopefully, that will work. Thanks for the tip about Rescue Remedy. Just went on Amazon and bought a bottle. I have 2 dogs and one of them gets so worked up every time she has to ride in the car that she poops. Hopefully, this stuff will help her calm down...........................Ok, just ordered the Chom Chom Roller also. You should get a cut of their sales, Renee. You are a convincing saleswoman. LOL!!

I have a wire hair fox terrier and he rarely sheds but he gets real wooly and curly like Maxxie so he gets groomed on the same schedule. I like to do the same as you...clean while they're gone. And the stuffing issue is real...I swear it spontaneously generates itself. Lol! The boys look amazing...fresh and ready spring!

My son, a Persian, no longer go to the groomer. He is almost 15 years old and I stopped taking him there since he was about 2 because cats need to get sedation so the groomer can survived the hair cut. Do not want to harm my son to save some groomer. I kind of cut his hair mats and warns every visitor not to bully him because of her mom's lack of grooming talent.

I remember from previous videos of the dogs going to groomers, and you giving them Rescue Remedy. It is s natural product and used for animals who have anxiety traveling hurt storm weather scares them and even if an animal gets hit by a car you can put drops on their tongue and they will be calm until you get them to the vet. Everyone should know usually you can get it at a health food store pet store or even sometimes they’ll have it at a pharmacy like a CVS Walgreen something like that it’s a wonderful product I’m glad you tell everybody about it also. It’s not very expensive last time I bought it it was $10 it’s probably more now and it only takes a few drops it comes from Bachs flower essence which is natural substances from flowers.. i’m so happy you’re chilling everyone about it Rene you can reach a lot of people in it be beneficial to the pets. I purchased 2 of the calming dog beds from Amazon after watching another video and you said Maxie loved his bed. The only problem I had was washing it. I texted you asking if you had a similar problem and you said no. After watching this video I now know the problem. Yours comes apart and mine doesn't. If anyone out there is looking to purchase one of these beds make sure you buy one that has a zipper so you can remove all the interior and just wash the outer bedding. Makes all the difference in the world.

Loved this! They look so beautiful! Of course, they always do, but there’s just something about that “fresh from the salon” look! I’m down to just my one doxie boy and he hates going to the groomer. All my others loved “Spa Day” but he had a difficult start in life and he hates the very idea of a bath. He howls and carries on EVERY time I turn the shower on! (It makes me wonder if they tried to drown him as a puppy. It wouldn’t surprise me. 😡) I miss Spa Day and the happy, proud faces. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I wouldn’t trade him for a gazillion dollars. BTW, he loves hearing you talk to your boys. He used to be half of “the boys” here, too. 😢 And you use the same baby talk I do - seep, seepin’ and seepy for sleep, sleepin’ and sleepy. Not sure if you call it a blankie, too or not, but he appreciates how you talk to your boys for sure! He sits right up to listen in. Thanks for a dog video - I love every video you do, but I need my Pollux and Maxxie fix every whipstitch! 🥰🥰
