Not from this haul, but can we talk about those jeans you were rocking with the flannel shirt?? Those fit you so well and helped you look your fantastic best! And, from the confidence you had to tie your shirt at the waist, they obviously make you feel your best, too! That makes them the greatest jeans ever! If you wear jeans often, I'd say buy another pair or two in whatever rinses they have that you like. Well cut, great fitting jeans are hard to find!

I agree! I just watched an older video after this with a teal waffle top with lace sleeves that was deemed office acceptable. I was taken aback because I worked in banking (main offices, not branches) and the waffle fabric would have been acceptable for casual Friday, but not any other time. The blue dress would have been acceptable any time.

@@Lucinda_Jackson you know, it is funny, I hadn’t even thought of the waffle fabric as being casual, the sleeves on that one felt fancy. I can see what you are saying! I work in finance, but in a family office. We only have clients in by appointment, so my work wardrobe runs a pretty wide gamut. The only hard/fast rule is ‘no jeans’

My take on the clothing in a list----My loves: red dot dress. black jacket; Likes: flannel, blue short sleeve dress ; Needs to go back: floral shirt (it fits but it doesn't flatter---don't need if it doesn't flatter), red velvet dress, red satin shirt. My ideas for the blue dress---to dress down and more causal--add the flannel to it with some Toms, Docs or Chucks. Or jean jacket or chunky cardigan. To dress it up--large silk scarf draped more like a poncho and pinned with a brooch and shiny ballet flats, or thin cardigan with three layered gold tone necklace. You are beautiful no matter what! Thank you for this channel.

Absolutely agree with Nicole, generally! I'd flip the "Likes" and the "Loves" but I'd get both sets! The blue dress fits like a glove and is so flattering in style and color. And, as Nicole says, it can be dressed up and down. Depending on where it hits, that lacy white cardigan might be pretty over it on cooler days (or it could look Grandma-ish, you'd have to try!). But I think you shouldn't pass that up. The flannel tied at the waist with those jeans was amazing! So flattering and nice colors to go with lots of things. The red dress was pretty and nice for office or for dinner, etc depending on accessories. The black sequin jacket was just plain fun and you loved it - reason enough to put it in the Love column! Bonus because it fits well and is so cute with anything from dressy pants or dresses to jeans. Giant no (IMO) to the velvet dress, the satin shirt and the floral top. You have so many pretty things that fit and flatter, you can afford to pass on anything that's just "okay". I've been been binging on some past videos and you're such a fun person! ❤

Perhaps the problem is the material up close does not look as high quality as it should be? It does look great on camera.

It was a very thin cotton-like material- it really felt like a swim cover up or layering piece- seeing ot on camera made me see that it actually looked much nicer on than the red velvet!

Of course, I don't know your office but I think with the right accessories, the blue dress could absolutely work in a more formal office atmosphere (especially with a family group). I love the last dress. Yes, red is definitely your colour. Oh, and I learned years ago to always make sure I have a "V" neckline, either with a long necklace, a V-neck, a sweater or jacket over top, anything to give that illusion of a V. It definitely is an eye-fooler that works with many people. I'm built a lot like you, although a bit more of a pear shape but still with a tummy, just lower. Anyway, the V-shape is my friend, for sure. I just love your channel and how friendly and down-to-earth you are, Meredith.

I have been playing around on eshakti’s app, and you can change necklines on anything! I’ve never ordered from them, but had a bunch of people ask me to. The only problem is that I had a cart ready around Christmas, everything was 40% off, the day I went to order, it dropped to 35% off- today it is 30% off - I keep hoping the discount will go up, but at this rate, I’ll be paying full price by Easter! Love the red clip dot and I'm going to order that in a few minutes! The sequin bomber jacket is a def keeper and I loved the entire outfit you tried on with the sequins. I loved the flannel shirt, the sequined jacket, and the long sleeved red dress (though it looks better as you said n with the long necklace). The color of the satin shirt was great on you, especially with the jacket, but there was something off about it. Maybe it was where the pocket was...I kept thinking the shoulder seam needed to be pulled forward because of where the buttons hit you but you turned around and the shoulder seam was in the right place. I was disappointed because the color was just right. I also have to say I am so thankful to those women brave enough to post pictures of themselves in the clothing on Amazon. So very helpful, especially with height and weight ranges. Thank you!

That black sequin jacket is everything! The only piece I didn't like was the pink button up that was too tight in the chest, it wasn't a good color or fit. Everything else looked great! Love the flannel shirt the first 2 ways you styled it. Don’t tuck in either way. The red velvet was definitely a no for me. It was too short in my opinion. I know most women don’t wear hose anymore but if you really had wanted the red velvet, I think hose would have let it work!

I have had to cut the loops off of things because they hit me in the wrong place. If you keep the dress maybe that would be a good idea. I also think you could dress up that blue dress. It’s really cute. I have also put tops over dresses then it looks like a skirt and top

I agree with another reviewer -- I liked everything except the red velvet dress. It just seemed like it was too short and looked a bit awkward. The flannel shirt looked great, too, especially when you tied it up. Good haul!

Hello Meredith, Oh my you are the ONLY person I know that will buy and eat WATERMELON 🍉 all year round like myself !!! 💞 I can eat I 1/4 of the melon in a day, it’s my hydration. Our nearest Whole Foods is a good distance away about 30 miles so I usually pick on up at Walmart or another local grocery store called Giant Eagle here in Pa. I absolutely love that flannel on you. I think flannel is a great fall piece. No on that half. Love that last RED dress on you, pretty 🤩 Lulu is so cute ! 🐶 Take Care 🌸

Okay I totally didn’t know that about Whole Foods and watermelon!! I ❤❤❤🍉🍉🍉! So they are an hour away but next time I’m in Raleigh, I’m totally getting one! Or three! Three plaid flannel tied is totally adorable!! Side note I bought two flannel shirts from Costco online in December and they are awesome. They also have huge side pockets that are great for phone wallet when walking greenway ! I think they were $12.99 … so soft and wash like a dream! Love the boho top too but it would probably sit in my closet Way too often. Adore the sequin jacket over the red satin top. Red dress really works with the necklace. I think I’d wear a slip with it or maybe just non static spray. Have a wonderful weekend Meredith! Good to see you fully enjoying January!!!

I’m having some serious cling issues with dresses lately! I think it may be time to bring the slips out! It may be that it is normally so humid here and the air is drier in the winter 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t ever shop Costco for clothes (though I do shop Costco a lot! I’m going to have to look- I think in the past there have been sizing issues (primarily the sizes stopping before I started!) I hope that I don’t lead you astray on the watermelons! I bought 2 this week, one from Kroger, one from HEB- Kroger’s was so overripe that I had to throw out most of it 😭

Good morning Meredith! What a great haul… versatile styles and lovely colours. The red satin top, that you identified the pocket placement being off, is my least favourite style on you… love the colour and style but that pocket placement would drive me crazy 😉 I agree that the black sequin bomber jacket would get a lot of wear time… the last red dress with the round neckline is very pretty on you… you’re rocking that neckline with jewellery. Your shacket and jeans you wore for the intro is my absolute favourite! 🤭

The first way you had the flannel styled was bang on! Looked great and it's my favorite of everything. I don't get the half tucked thing, I mean, what's the point? The blue dress is cute, would a blazer over the top make it ok for work? I Love the sequin jacket and the red chiffon but I didn't like the satin shirt at all, but that's just me. Also, the red velvet (or any color of velvet) would be a big ol NO for me. I absolutely Cannot stand the way velvet feels. It gives me the cringes! (I know I'm weird)
