Hey guys! I wanted to add in to the conversation here that I should have pointed out in the video that I ordered these books over the course of a few months and because I work as a designer, part of my job is to purchase books on behalf of my clients, so some of these books will end up in upcoming home projects and others will stay with me as a resource to my work and as a source of inspiration. I thought it would be fun to share all these great finds with you guys so you could pick and choose which one (or none) might be a good fit for you or simply be inspired to visit your local library or thrift store. I hope more than anything that at a time when we aren't able to travel, explore, and meet new people and places that we will look to our books to take us places.

I think coffee table books should reflect you and what you like. I go to the goodwill and get my books. Books that I actually enjoy reading.

You don’t need to justify spending your hard earned money on expensive books. People need to calm down. 🙄 Would a carpenter be judged for buying tools ...this is dearly part of your work not just for decor. Books are my substitute travel too. Inside Tangier has been in my shopping cart for quite a while think it’s time to checkout 😍

I’m obsessed with coffee table books! I want my family and guests to get lost reading them, looking at gorgeous images and relaxing with a cool drink (on a coaster, of course) in my living rm😎

What a lovely video! I adore coffee table books, however, I am even more inspired now to purchase books that take me around the world in a sense. We don't get to travel often, and what a beautiful way to get a taste of it all for far less money!

Love this Vlog Valentina! Books transport no question and for those of us who have lived abroad, it is literally arm chair travel! I am in the midst of transforming our small backyard into a European inspired patio garden. The virus has only reinforced the idea to live our best life and to create and surround ourselves with what we love! What are we waiting for?! Love you kindred spirit.

I loved this episode, please do more. I have had my eye on The DeGourney book for a while but was reluctant to purchase as its pricey, but I do love their wallpapers (not that I could afford them, lol). As there were not many images of the contents of the book online I was put off from purchasing, but now I have just ordered a copy. Thank you!

I’ve found my best way to learn is to look at as many pictures as possible, analyse what I like, don’t like and what’s effective then deep dive into why it works. There’s so many common techniques used in what works. I’ve done that for creating ornamental quilting designs and I’m now doing that for interior design. It’s working so well that when my niece sent me a picture of a room, I analysed it instantly but it took me about 30 mins to put it in an email. She loves your channel.

Harry’s is at Costco now 🤗 I just love watching your shows...you and jack are so cute and funny ❤️ I also love to see what your wearing..lol..the colors you’ve been wearing are so beautiful and vibrant.
