Hi Dylan, I opened a shop about a year ago but never posted any listings and had to put things on the back burner until now. I really want to keep my shop name, but saw you mention in this video it's a good idea to open a new shop. Can I do this and still keep my old name? Let me know if this is covered in your course (I have your course and am excited to dive further back into it - so many great insights and resources!)

I opened my shop in late Sept and had 77 sales thru Q4 but only 6 sales since Jan 1. I'm getting only 8-14 visits per day now. Should I start a new shop and if so, do I also continue to work the current shop? Also, can you do a video on the basics for Facebook groups?

I’ve recently started offering local pickup for some of my physical products but now my Star Seller rating has dropped to 60% because I don’t have shipping codes. Is this detrimental in the long run as I won’t be able to achieve a badge if I continue with free local pickups?

Hi Dylan. Thank you so much for this thoughtful episode. I've recently deleted 98% of my listings. I opened my shop some time around last year (POD) and I believe I've rushed everything. I'm having issues with Titles, Descriptions, Tags, Attributes and others.... All that affects my sales... Any help would really be appreciated... I lost my job 2023, November 28.

You mentioned that you would not recommend going into vacation mode and said that "there's a much better workaround that won't hurt your shop" but then never said what that was. Are you able to explain what you meant there?

I have had my store for 6 weeks. The first 4 weeks I had fantastic growth and about5-10 sales per day. The last 3 weeks it has nosedived each week worse and worse. Why might this be? I sell digital items, I am getting about 2000 views per month. My conversion also used to be between 10-25%, now its under 3% if not 0%.

I thought u said it’s better to start ur shop with a strong selection of listings from the get-go rather than little by little.

You've got to get started with 1 listing and this is so important for people who overthink and become paralyzed to take action. I tell them just to get at least a listing up! That starts their momentum. Then we focus on your initial product mix with the 7 types of products framework.

I just yesterday opened an Etsy store to reserve my shop name, but plan to start selling in fall. And today I find out that it is better to get a new shop when starting. 🫣 How much of a boost is there for a new shop and if I close shop / rename it will I be able to use the name?
