Shai is able to do everything on the court from playing tough defense to being able to shoot the 3 and getting to the rim. Its nice to see him getting the recognition he deserves as a young underrated nba superstar🔥⭐

Shai’s soo good at slipping through anyone but my only problem I have with him is sometimes he knows he can get a bucket but his homies be wide open. Hopefully with a great squad he passes the ball more

Nah man he passes it too much. As a Thunder fan we all want him to shoot more because he’ll pass up open shots to kick it to a teammate sometimes. He can get 40ppg if he wanted to

@@duffal0 tru I try to watch as many thunder games on league pass as I can and he actually is super unselfish. He not only gets 5 assists a game but he also pushes the pace and gives the ball up early a lot during transition

Shai's is a frontrunner to win both Most Improve Player also Clutchest Player Of The Year plus SGA was 7th early on in the MVP ladder while everyone is expecting that he'd be an All Star Starter this season, then many analyst and experts even have him being a candidate for DPOY as well. SGA is having a All-NBA to All-Defensive caliber of year, the fact that Shai consistently scores 31 PPG on 50/40/90 shooting splits along with a 64% true shooting is absurb effiency coming from him alone to top it off getting 2+ stls & 1.5 blks as a guard shows off his two-way abilities cuz not many guards have that kind of defense prowess on them but is great offensively as well, it's very rare to have a player with his unique capabilities like there a not many two-way players his kind.

He uses his body exceptionally well and is very smart about the mid range shots he takes. He never settles for a far mid ranger he always gets much closer before he elevates and that's partly why his FG% is so high. This is how you use your 6'6 height advantage even if you are still skinny (Shai is still under 200 pounds)

The difference between Shai and all these guys is that his defense is so much better than there’s. The offensive game, scoring, shooting, and playmaking are so close that it basically comes down to preference but people can’t deny that Shai’s defense is better than a lot of the young guards in the league. Great 2 Way potential once he doesn’t have to do so much offensively.

@@pb7even For Sure Id Say Him & D-Mitch are the Best Defenders but then Again I’ll Still take D-Mitch,Ja,Booker & Luka still just Because they Done It In the Playoffs but SGA is Probably The Most Complete Player All-Around Game Defense, Pass, Shooting from All Threes levels Probably only Booker Has A Better Mid Range Game Otherwise SGA Got em Beat ..

Shai and Brunson seem to have learned that herky jerky pace from Luka and some James Harden. All these players are not atheltic at all. It's quite remarkable.

Maybe not the most athletic but have a sneaky trait. Ability to change pace. Luka and harden are measured to have some of the fastest deceleration time in the nba. Plays right into their ability to change direction and pace

Which Is actually better than being fast bkz In that way you always keep your opponent of balance & they can never lock In on your body language so It essentially Impossible to guard that, i.e what we call "Shifti-ness" With speed all U have to do Is create/build a wall up to stop Initial penetration lol. But with being shifty It makes the defense open up bkz they misread the players body language & he then take advantage It's more of a subtle, & unassuming way to attack the opposing defense that increases the chance of ratio success per attempt. As well It saves much more energy than trying to beat/ out run everyone with foot speed lol facts The shifty players can make U fall down stopping & going ahah.

Shai has possibly the softest dunk I've ever seen from a 6'6 guard. That being said, what a phenomenal talent. OKC got something special in him, surround him with the right players and only good things can happen
