@@danteortega6510 almost always pearl white or if the water is extra clear the grey Shad color. I like to use it as a jerk bait, pop it a couple times so it swims back and forth and then let it fall. You can fish it like this on top water, mid column, or even off the bottom to get those reaction strikes. If that doesn’t work slow down completely and just toss it out and “dead stick” it. Eventually your line will start swimming so pay attention.

@@DoctorSess I’m typically fishing the worst waters you can think of: murky Texas waters. I lose sight of baits within 6 inches of the surface. You can rig them multiple ways. Friend of mine used a drop shot with the 3.5 inch and caught a ton of smallmouth. I Texas rigged mine with it on its side and caught a handful myself. I always love hearing stories from other anglers about their personal exploits on that particular body of water…I’m a native and current resident of the not so great state of California (being a native gives me the right to trash talk this abomination of the union)! When I was a youngster I had the opportunity to go to Louisiana every summer for about a month from the 3rd grade to about the 8th grade with my best friend as his grandfather lived in Louisiana and operated a shrimp boat there! He took us boys from Cali on some of the most awesome adventures that will remain as some of the very best times of my life! Getting to experience a completely different way of life and living at that age was truly life changing for me and I feel blessed to have experienced it!!! Everything about that state was absolutely amazing and like nothing else I ever did experience anywhere else I have ever been! From the many 1st experiences of my life, like…alligators in close proximity almost everywhere we went, catfish so big I am pretty certain that they could’ve eaten me at the time, the biggest and most alien looking bugs I’ve ever seen, almost daily interactions with water moccasins, unconditional and unsupervised trust with my newly gifted bb/pellet gun, every and all manner of fireworks that are illegal in California (always have been), swamps and bayou’s, whole neighborhood crab, shrimp, crawdad/crayfish feeds, epic and absolute next level fishing with lake Pontchartrain probably being my favorite! We used to spend all day on that particular body of water and never once got bored! I also remember clearly catching a very large and great fighting Sheepshead along with an assortment of other fish species on that body of water! Reminiscing has me writing way too much probably, so I’ll let you go with that and thanks for the trip down memory lane!
