Just wanted to throw a comment in here really quick. I apologize for the 3 1/2 week gap between our last video and this one. I really don't have an excuse for this, nor a legitimate reason for this. I've just been really demotivated lately, but thankfully, that feeling is starting to subside, and I have lots of new ideas for content going forward. My goal moving forward from this point on is to have at LEAST 2 videos go up per week, every week. This allows me to get a video done, and for Michael to get a video done, and also allow for us to comfortably work on other projects that accelerate our own careers and desires. Also, we're only 10,000 subscribers away from hitting 3,000,000!!! So once I render the next video that I'm personally working on right now, I'll be working on a 3,000,000 subscriber milestone video as well! This is what i want them to do with the reactor: They're unobtainable and uncraftable but will exist in the game. Only will appear on an extremely rare structure, the same nether reactor structure we all used to build. And also, same functions but the netherrack should spread like in a Animation

Man, I remember the old PE stonecutters, those were handy, I do also remember seeing the nether reactor core where in the creative menu and survival crafting menu, but I was too young to know how to actually use it :/ But thanks for bringing those memories but to me man! :)

There was a brief period where I played pocket edition, with the nether reactor core in the game. I was mostly a console player at the time, so I didn’t mess with it much. I remember not really knowing what it did, and neither did my cousin who was at my house at the time. I thought it looked pretty cool, and I remember using it in a garage I built for some reason. I also believe I remember not knowing what the stone cutter did, and using it as a workbench. It’s simple things like that in life I wish I could go back too.

Really, nether reactor would be great to bought back to nether update. Imagine having a real nether corrosion while activating the reactor. It'll be so much fun

Nostalgia hit me hard. I remember when I loved oak and not spruce. I remember putting the stonecutter in my bedroom. And I remember my cousin showing me how to use the nether reactor.

The crying obsidian could be a cool way to get a new dimension in the game.

I used to play every day on MCPE.. I remember most of the blocks like the stonecutter and nether reactor core.

I have an old world on my 2013 tablet on where I made a house out of a nether reactor core, I went back to my old world and the block still happens to be there.

Speaking of crying obsidians and other removed blocks, crying obsidian and some other removed blocks were added back. Crying obsidian was added back as a useful change for 1.16 nether update. For making respawn anchors and found by piglins with trading

Hearing the words “Nether reactor core” took me WAAAAY back

I remember using the reactor for the first time. It was crazy for me. It's insane how much the game has changed, and somehow I still love back when I first used the reactor. And look at it fondly. But I know that where we are heading with the game is so much better than anything I could've imagined then.

Last night I was thinking “man ant venom hasn’t uploaded in a while”

I knew all of them except for the crying obsidian it's first time i see it even though I was playing Minecraft from a very long time, since the early days of minecraft pocket edition. Yea it was a good days.

The only reason I know these blocks is because I often try to learn more stuff about minecraft and thus use the fandom page alot. I found the 'removed blocks' section beneath pages of the fandom article and clicked on them. I love that fandom page so much.

I miss having to watch youtube videos on how to use the nether reactor core, i didnt know how it worked back then. Nostalgic.

I actually used the Nether Reactor Core once, it was weird. And yes, I had *serious* nostalgia!

I still have my world, with abandoned nether reactor core towers, stonecutters and a whole bunch of other old blocks in it, I still think I’m very lucky to have it.

Fun fact, the stonecutter was added to pocket edition since the crafting system they used back then was incapable of handling enough recipes, so some of them were placed into the stonecutter instead. However, they improved the crafting system, and eventually removed the block.

I like how they returned some old removed blocks/items like the crying obsidian and stonecutter. There may be hope for other blocks like the cog for vertical redstone. Maybe Crafted with Iron or Redstone? However that is for the Compass.

The spire from the reactor core was originally made of obsidian before netherrack was added, if i remember correctly

As someone that played PE in alpha, this brings back memories.

It probably isn’t still like this, but back when the reactor core was removed , my friend had one placed in his world as decoration, and since apparently the code is still in the game, it was still there despite not technically being obtainable. I wonder if it would still be there or if it got patched out

the thing about the reactor is that finding enough gold for the damn thing was insanely hard, since this was back when worlds had limited size, so my young self duped everything needed for it. I had a world where I must’ve had 6 or 7 spires, I lived in one of them, and I had also made a building out of iron blocks using duped iron. Fun times.

I remember getting Lite Version Pocket Edition and only having about 10 blocks to choose from the menu, and the only hostile mobs that spawned were a crap ton of Zombies. Fun days, man.
