Cause Rythian never expects anyone else to actually be paying attention lol. It's so rare that other Yogs actually pay attention that it shocks him when it happens lol.

My absolute favorite example of that is AAAAAAAAAGES ago (around when the Shrek-zooka was first introduced) in a round where Rythian killed Tom and then Ben eventually happened to find a defib and rez him. Then after a long time of goofing around and yucking it up, Tom suddenly remembers and kills Rythian and has to explain "you killed me earlier this round!" because they both forgot.

He got SO unlucky with his positioning there, I think what happened was kinda like he orbited it due to the initial angle it sucked him at, which got him around all the intervening obstacles.

I remember seeing a bomb a while back that just picked someone up (lewis?) from one side of the map and safely deposited them on the other. They can be really volatile

I was just thinking this, staying close to a target when they can just run off and you can never catch them is way too hard right now.

@@vegladex Yes, all it takes is checking something and your target is outside of range, running away and all you see is that line never stopping. Sure, adding speed is a way to also get outed as a shadow, thats why it needs to be subtle and the player carefull. Since a shadow could be either a friend or foe. Potentiall harm for a terrorist, since they allways follow and if they get outed they might do a corpse run as lewis tried this episode. But being able to get to your target faster, or like a shadow step tp on a cooldown. But something, it doesent add anything if they just die all the time do to being out of area

I feel like another big downside is that there's really no reason for your target to leave you alive, because if you're an informant they should just kill you and if you're actually a shadow there's no penalty for killing you. Maybe the ability to haunt your target if they kill you would make it feel a little less... helpless.

@@thatshadowguy1005 bonus is the shadow wins withyou, so convinsing them to be on your side whould help you. But since the shadow wins if just they are alive not the target kinda defeats it, since if the target is a terorist its far easier to win if you just kill half the traitors by killing your target, and if the trator with shadow is last alive then its a no brainer to kill the target and win

Or maybe a Stamina/sprinting buff, so they're not obviously faster when moving around normally, but they can still cover ground faster than average.

Neat idea but in practice is has many issues. The traitor could just use a 1-hit kill weapon, hitting the innocent with this lets them call out the traitor and run away, the lack of loot means people have no incentive to kill them since the Goblin happens at a set point. Using it would be fairly obvious as well so you have to be hiding which in turn helps innocents figure out who used it and figure out who is an innocent.

​@@Buglin_Burger7878 I actually don't think what you listed are necessarily negatives about the item, but moreso obstacles you have to overcome to use it successfully. The goblin happening at a set time isn't something people will remember (this is the Yogs, let's be honest), and also the drunk can remember Loot Goblin already at a non-fixed time. If that's not enough, the loot goblin could just be set to pick a random number between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to reveal, making the weapon more believeable. Using it from a range would be the go-to, however the "figuring out who used it" is true for any traitor weapon and that's a risk you'll always be taking. However, use it on someone who is alone, and they can't confirm who it wasn't that shot them. Anyone claiming "I was with ..." could just be the other traitor vouching for the person who shot it. This isn't a problem now, so it won't be a problem if it's added. My biggest criticism with the item is that it wears off, it just means the person shot shouts "I've been loot goblined!" and hides for 30 seconds or so until it goes away. Instead, it should last the entire rest of the round, however they can still deal damage. This will also allow regular loot goblins to claim they've been hit with the traitor weapon. In terms of balance, this means they're a target with 50% less health and the chance of their own teammates killing them, but they are also a smaller player model that is much faster.

@@AtomixKingg I admit the reason I was considering the idea of there being a time limit when it would be reversed was so that if someone actually did manage to avoid death long enough, they could get their health back. I can see the pros and cons for both sides of the argument.

@@Buglin_Burger7878 The reason you would use something that doesn't kill, is distraction to make opportunities to get more kills later. The point is that is looks like a loot goblin and gets an innocent to potentially kill an innocent thinking they get loot, you wouldn't wanna actually give the innocents an arsenal against yourself, so it's a no brainer that the fake loot goblin wouldn't actually drop anything once it does the distraction doesn't work anymore anyway. Using weapons like the weeping angel has always been equally risky, yet often with great effect. Additionally you are speaking of the Yogs, half the time obvious things go by them.

The problem with that is, that little Lewis on his own, just become's regular Lewis
