they need to fix that whenever your teammate is afk all game and you lose it counts as a defeat but yet when the other team has an afk player and we win it still counts as a defeat, so in a situation where 1 player is afk all players will receive a loss in the lobby seems kinda dumb to me

My problem with dodge is some characters seem to have more invincibility frames than others. I know some dodges go farther than others like joker. There's times I go to punish someone for a dodge and somehow they still have invincibility even though they dodged way too early. But then I try to do the same and dodge perfect timing but still get hit on the back swing of bugs bat and other moves. Seems inconsistent.

The hit detection is wild. I started noticing this too when actually trying to punish a dodge, hit them with a big hit box attack and it still misses?

Yeah, please tell me why I can dodge a character's attack but still get hit by it after coming out of my dodge? I should be invulnerable to that attack forever once I've actually directly dodged it and the 'dodged' indicator comes up

Dude. Thank you so much for mentioning the dodging!! I haven't seen anyone talk about this but every time I play I'm like... so confused because I press the button and the animation comes out but it doesn't actually dodge. The actual dodge comes out like way too late after pressing the button it's insane.

It’s either that or sometimes the button can be completely unresponsive at times. I’ve been combo and teabagged too many times because I’ll have a full bar of dodge and for some reason I press the button and it’s either I’ll dodge but will still get hit or it just won’t respond

Jake needs a buff, his horse does so little knock back that it feels like it's supposed to have some secundary effect (like armor or armor break) and they just forgot to put it so now it's just a move that doesn't kill when it feels like it should. also his hands has hurtbox and every time he get hit in the hand, even if he's using his streach moves, he'll be teleport to where the hand was, which I think is bs, imagine if you could hit wonder woman's wipe and combo her out of that. finally, his skate move is super good but sometimes you can fly to a side of the screen to the other using it but the active hitbox of this attack doesn't last long enough for you to make use of this and that's a shame 'cause it would be SO SICK to skate your way to your enemy and actually do damage

@@SportsPredictor101 jake doesn't have much combo potential but he's very flexible in his moveset, which makes him fun to play, tho he lacks priority and his side air and grounded up, arguably he's best moves, makes him vulnerable 'cause of the hurtbox in his hands

They need to address bigger characters dodge too. I’m a Garnet main and I constantly get clipped even when I dodge successfully just because I have long legs. Also, Garnet is still broken in certain ways. She needs a serious look.

Multiversus really does feel like a developers first attempt at trying to make a platform fighting game. There's no general blocking in the game, infinite combo city, jank hitboxes/hurtboxes.

@@HypeVoiceActing Never heard of Rivals of Aether. Just looked it up and found out it's an indie fighting game. So it makes sense the development team would not include the most basic defensive option feature in most modern/AAA fighting games. Multiversus is still fun but I think it could be more fun with a block button. Something that helps players who like to play more defensively, and deal with so much randomness in an online environment.

I feel that out of all characters, it’s so hard for me to get wins against players who play Harley Quinn, Joker, Buggs, and Wonder Woman. They each either have very quick combos, ability to cheese top screen kills too easily, and in WW’s case, become too durable to even attack reliably. I feel like they have to make some combos not as quick and easy, and in WW’s case, maybe do something about her durability. Maybe make her a lighter class or reduce her damage to make up for the armor and shield.

Dodge in multiversus has some activation frames, and it changes based on your character. Jason has 3 activation frames and (i think) shaggy has 4 (not sure about shaggy but there is some frame advantages betwen characters).

As a wonder woman main, I'm glad no one is talking about her down attack. That attack kills at 70 80 and I don't have to charge up just have to touch my opponent lol

I play a lot with Garnet and i discovered that if you launch her gauntlets to the dath zone with the auto star perk you can grab the enemy and instantly kill them It even works if both players are at one point of winning XDD Is so OP that i was able to win with just that combo but its not funny and it feels like cheating

The reason why most if not all of these characters are unbalanced now is because of the fact they were initially designed with the beta's attack decay gimmick in mind. Constant reliance on using the same moves was countered by attack decay, and it encouraged players to... y'know, actually try and play the game. Since attack decay is gone now in this relaunch and a lot of hitstun has been added to every attack, it just allows for people to movespam and rely on the safest options or combos for easy kills and prevent the opponent from any proper means of escape or counter. It's very degenerate and brainless and it basically turns this into a game of 'who can touch-of-death the other first'. It makes characters that had balancing issues and dominated the roster before (like Harley or Superman) basically remain untouchable menaces that can now get effective results even easier. This relaunch has so many problems bro I dont get how they stepped back so far

Theres been a few times I had an issue dealing with Tom and Jerry’s paddle move when Jerry wasn’t there. The move doesn’t have any kickback until higher percents so it’s easy to get caught in from people spamming it. There was one person that chained it with the down hammer to do close to an infinite. I have been able to dodge away from it at higher percents.

black adam's up attack is also a huge problem imo. on the ground it has nearly no end lag and always gets armor. it used to have a cooldown where you couldnt spam it with armor, but they got rid of that...?? it has a really janky and large hitbox too. i dont know why youre just able to throw that move out so much and not get punished for it. attack decay really needs to come back

You might try using something besides a trigger to dodge and see if it makes a difference. Because triggers detect a range of input and not just "pressed or not pressed" it can sometimes slow down the input just a slight bit, which could throw off your timing. Depends on game, controller, and even how the player presses buttons. I haven't really tried to see how well MVS handles the trigger inputs. As for Black Adam's Dair... While it may need to be adjusted if that's a true infinite, I certainly don't agree with making it send up. It's visually a downward directional kick, sending up would feel off. Granted, knock back directions don't always match their visuals perfectly, but it shouldn't be the exact opposite.

2v2s definitely needs hit stun reduction and the speed overall in the game needs to be raised right now the game favors people spamming strong attacks with zero attack decay or draw backs and everything kills far to quickly with how absurdly close the blast zones are and hit boxes are junk rn it feels like the game punishes you for putting in actual combos that aren’t up air spam

So i have been experimenting with these hit boxes like crazy. Joker has a lot of options on certain characters. If I fight super armor I use the flower to cancel it for a second same with projectiles. But so far I have not found an answer for Harley hitting me from behind with that hammer. I'll soon learn before the patches when the patches happen I'm gonna still grind. Check out what I've done with joker on my page

They really need to fix the charge attack bug asap, pressing a button once for a uncharged attack shouldn't make my character instead charge it for a solid 2 seconds randomly in the middle of my match, I've died so many times when trying to do a combo because of some random ass input lag. Also sometimes pressing an attack once like Rick's jetpack probably shouldn't sometimes do it twice

Defense in its current state can and will tank this game. An increase to all the inadvisability frames is a must. Along with out right getting rid of the doge meter all together because there is no need for it. And if we could ether add a block or work parries to be more movement friendly that would be grate if not awesome.

Are u trying to dodge or parry? Cuz that video looks like your trying to parry which u need to be more patient when it comes to parrying if ur only trynna dodge use the dpad or analog to choose a direction to go instead of just standing still trynna dodge

Bugs bunny has a infinite with his down hammer in to neutral air there is no way out of it I’ve tried jumping and dodging you can’t get out of it I’m not saying get rid of it but maybe make the push back of the move a little further so dodge meter has to be used to keep it going at least that way if they go for it they are in burn out after and it makes it a risk/ reward situation

Characters having balanced stats is not a want but a NEED, if you have characters that can to do a ton of damage in a matter of nanoseconds and they are able to move freakishly fast then they're gonna be overpowered and possibly overused by players. If a character can do a massive amount of damage quite easily then they should be slower than the standard characters, just to balance it out a bit.

@@bullinater7686 granted a few things do but Steven is very underwhelming compared to the rest of the roster. Sure you argue his watermelon can possibly change the tide as a extra helping hand. But his and garnets kit go on a full blown cool down while there are character who have either more obnoxious or annoying spam abilities that dont. Stevens forward forward down special and and recovery get beat at by everything. Which is fine but when you have characters like wonder woman who's shield actually works for her and is in the same role it seems pretty unfair. Stevens side special is good as is doesn't have worlds strongest kill potential and cover good space and works like a shield and if you leave Stevens recovery does the same thing and protects you only when placed. Steven bomb is a great move but the effect is rather annoying on both sides you kinda both sit there and think what now as steven trys to time when you get out of bubble. But Steven bomb is Stevens biggest killing move that goes on cool down for a good set of time leaving his only other move that can kill be his up air which has a bit of a ganky hit box online. Steven doesn't really perform well like the other tanks he doesn't have massive damage like them or the stay off pressure. And his only supporting moves are the watermelon and the heals it gives when it's getting ready which isn't much heals. His shielding passive which can save your teammates sometimes and Steven bomb

@@mmdomar8277 I mean, I downplay my main too, that isn't gonna stop them from getting nerfed lmao, all seriousness tho, I don't play steven so idk, I'm just letting you know that you should expect some nerfs in the next upcoming weeks, hopefully nothing huge, I just know the dev team at PFG has been eyeing him for a little while, along with the other sentiment outliers like Wonder Woman, Harley, and Gizmo. Btw "sentiment outlier" only means that a lot of people are complaining about them, not that they're necessarily broken

WW and Bugs need to be nerfed into the ground. Also I feel like a lot of moves that should be punishable arent punishable. For example Harley Quinn's dash attack she can DI out of it so easily. Yet banana or black adam dashes and it takes them like 2 seconds to be able to move again

It’s most likely not an infinite. A lot of players don’t realise they get only 2 dodges in the air until you hit the ground, so what happened is you thought you couldn’t dodge because you most likely already wasted them. That’s why characters like gizmo having multiple jumps is an issue because you don’t get enough dodges to deal with it

Gizmo needing a nerf could be understandable but they literally ruined him, car is useless now. Bow understandably needed fixes but wow he is just awful now. He still also has bug that causes his to not be able to jump for the rest of the match after it happens. PFG really does not know how to prioritize what needs to be fixed first

Are people crying for Nerfs already? In a game where every character costs $10, I'd rather see underperforming characters get buffs to compete. I hated Beta Velma, but I'd rather see her get buffed than see PFG wasting time nerfing armor on a shield move because you can't position yourself correctly without infinite dodges.

This stuff is making me think they should've done a playtest before release Edit: Just played a game, and yeah the dodge invulnerablility needs to be increased. I'm pressing the button and I'm still getting hit :(

I wanna love this game but it is sooooo terribly balanced. Armor, shields, and rage buffs need to be gone, just fight with your kit straight up. They cant even nerf what needs to be nerfed, Banana guard dmg was nerfed but the dmg wasnt the problem, it was the knockback. No player in the game should deal massive amounts of knockback to players under 90%. Super woman, shaggy, BG, and superman really need to be nerfed they have too much bs I as a TnJ main have and other players to deal with that we cant counter and they get for no reason.

I think Black Adam is fine. That’s just a player who mastered a combo. Tom and Jerry need to be nerfed with that ridiculous paddle juggle.

A lot of players jump and dodge put of the way of the paddle before it even ends, also hes top 3 hardest characters to play even with that said hes no where near the best so u cant nerf him
