Happy Valentines Day my beautiful family!!! Today it has been raining all day long here in Az and well we decided to stay in and make something WE ALL LOVE, TACOS!!!! now let me tell you I can eat tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner, but my kids are very picky and they rather eat crunchy fully loaded tacos, THESE ONES!!! Taco Bell has a version and let me tell you they dont compare to homemade, if you are like me and dont like their meat, you are not missing out at all, make them at home because EVERYTHING IS BETTER WHEN HOMEMADE ❤

I have a very difficult to please mother-in-law, I’ve made these tacos three times now and every time she has told me that the best taco she’s ever had. Don’t underestimate the positivity in the single moment in our 14 year relationship. Seriously, the most negative woman I’ve ever met, was blown away by this recipe. ❤

I just made tostadas last night with ground beef the exact same way (added ancho chile powder as well). Ground beef used to be super cheap so we ate a lot of these when I was younger! And picadillo yum... I've never shaped a tortilla like this though, maybe I'll give it a go!

We usually buy the store bought crunchy corn shells and taco seasoning. I'm definitely going to try this, atleast the homemade shells.

I know it sounds weird, but Parmesan cheese on the taco shell fresh out of the oil is fabulous!!!Just try it!

Man I wish I could cook veggies in with my taco meat, but if one of my grandkids sees anything with color they flip out and won’t eat....picky eaters! I like the looks of the queso May give that a try as I usually just use grated mild cheddar. Great job as usual fam! FYI, just went to the kitchen at 2:00 AM and fried me three shells and microwaved leftover taco meat and had late night tacos, my fave!

I’ll never understand why anyone would go to taco bell. Yes crunchy deep fried tacos are delicious but I’ll never give up my first love for queso Birria tacos with consommé. Im obsessed. But this is how my Irish mother prepared taco shells 65 yrs ago. Oh the memories. When I was a kid, the only time we went out for dinner mostly was for Mexican food.
