In this video I'll run you through the Spinlight Trigger 2 Vol.1 pack and showcase a bunch of the sounds included!
The Trigger 2 Sample Pack Includes 11 kicks, 19 snares and 18 toms.
Each drum was multi sampled, many of which are multi-velocity too.

If you don't use Steven Slate Trigger 2, then I recommend checking out my "ONE SHOTS! Vol.1" Pack. its loaded with heaps of one shot Wav files of kicks, snare, toms, percussion, cymbals, snaps, stomps etc.

I’m not sure if Super Trigger 2 will make my Mac take a fat deuce or not, but we’re gonna find out! These samples are absolutely brilliant, and I can tell that you put a lot of time, effort, passion, and love into making them for us, so thank you for everything you do!

Goofy question. I got the Trigger 2 pack, and things seem a little bit….lacking. Is there a specific sample rate I need to be starting my projects in for ultimate sexiness, or am I just using Trigger all wrong?

Hey Patrick, It’s hard to say without seeing how you’re running things, but you should be able to load up the presets in trigger and blend in with your kit. Make sure you adjust the input volume, if the samples are multi velocity and you want hard hits, you need to make sure you’re feeding trigger a healthy input volume so the snare/kick/Tom’s transients are hitting the roof of the display. But then just typical mixing, parallel compression, drum bus compression, etc etc Maybe watch one of my drum mixing videos to get a few ideas?

Hey dude, mega impressed with your samples. Im about to invest in a roland TD27 which allows you to import wav samples. Would your samples work on this module?

Thanks Adam! That’s a great question.. one that I haven’t explored yet. The pack includes all of the individual hits and velocities as wav files so I imagine it could be set up, I just haven’t ever done it before!
