In what world do women wait for men to walk through the door first, then follow them? Also, eating an ice cream cone with a gelato spoon? And it's fine to tell your waiter you're not finished with your plate. The utensils were not at the 4 o'clock position.

Barbara h thank you! A guy should not walk through the door first in an elevator. Super weird he got into the cab before her. He should have opened the door let her in and then gone around to the other side, so she doesn't have to slide over. Etc etc. lots wrong with this etiquette video

I think the point is, that the man enters a lift or taxicab or room first, because it is a safety precaution. When lift doors open, if the woman gets in first and there’s an unsavoury character or group of hooligans, in there, the guy is not able to “rescue the damsel in distress” because the unsavoury character or gang, have already pressed the close button and are terrifying the woman as the lift goes up or down. Whereas if the guy gets in first, he is checking for safety, before inviting her in. Likewise in a taxicab, the guy gets in first as a way of checking out the safety inside. One must remember that in 2023, women are still incapable of independence or of vocalising their needs. They’re too busy waiting for their Prince to come along, to adorn them with a tiara on their wedding day, so that they can become the Princess they long dreamt of being. Then after a short time of “playing dress ups” in the Royal Palaces, the newly crowned Princess weaves her web of deception and hypnotises the Prince into abandoning his life for the goal of making more gold than any Palace could ever hide in the deepest of the Palace Towers. Oops, me… I think I’ve read a real life story that has unfolded in a similar way. Supposed feminist, behaves as a damsel in distress yet the entire time, the damsel had a plan all along - tiaras, crowns, titles = status, fame, global recognition, control = money money money = destroy the very foundation that actually bestowed the tiaras, crowns and titles on her by tarnishing them with total untruths day after day after day

Part of the fun of eating an ice cream in a cone, is the core memories it invokes each time you lick it. One long lick with your tongue is like a trip to when you were six years old and didn’t care about the melting ice cream dribbling down your hand or your chin for that matter

I wish more Koreans watch this video! Their technology developmented too fast that there was not enough time to develop their culture properly! Over all If you don’t really care such as me you would enjoy living in Korea they are very kind to foreigners I always get something on the house when I go to a new cafe❤ but also I saw people who have very low common sense such as a couple was laughing very loud to flirt and were tickling eachother like there is no person in there. this one was my first time I saw in these 6 years living in Korea so I don’t really think all Koreans are the same also I saw people spit on the street very often… specially old people clear their throat very loud and then spit also I have seen low cultivated people often in restaurants cafes but as I said whenever I saw these situations I left normally without even showering I didn’t like or disliked bc you don’t want to argue or waste your time.

I live in the UK and I don't know anyone who follows all these rules. Average people don't adhere to etiquette 24/7, some we've adapted into general politeness etc but some of these are way over the top

Weeeeelllll you'd think it was common sense. It really isn't though. As a special education teacher, I can count on 1 hand how many times someone held the door for me while I was pushing a wheelchair. This is over the entire course of a year. It's really sad

I turned 53 today. Not interested in changing my behavior in the slightest, even though I racked up about 60 poor examples that I do on a regular basis during the course of the video. This lady can take her etiquette lessons elsewhere. I am impervious to her suggestions. In fact, I feel motivated to do more faux pas.
